18/6/2013 10:00 | I am surprised at the market reaction, this looks sound to me and I see no reason to sell, maybe a top up is in order. ayi | ayiman
18/6/2013 08:51 | If the statement is correct that SIV is exiting non-profitable markets - then the profitability is set to improve. Hardly a negative point - even at the cost of £4.6m reduced revenue. | maddox
18/6/2013 08:42 | The group looks sound to me, someone is selling for whatever reason and thats their opinion. SIV and its prospects are looking attractive and if it supports at 140 then I'm looking to add. | owenski
18/6/2013 08:39 | Looks like the directors timed it right on 21st of May ! | kfp
18/6/2013 08:30 | Judging from the share price performance this morning, some are not impressed. We have at least one BOT selling. Ho hum... support should be at 140, so I wouldn't like to see us going any lower. | lord gnome
18/6/2013 08:30 | What we think does not matter, it's getting hammered. | gorilla36
18/6/2013 08:25 | upfront statement. Marketing the growth area. all well here I think. | richtea1701
18/6/2013 08:11 | Agree on the wording. It's not the clearest ;-) | mikepompeyfan
18/6/2013 08:10 | Thanks I read it in the wrong way, the wording could have been better | harrywilliam
18/6/2013 08:07 | I think you mean group revenue £4.6m lower. Expected due to exiting non profit making printing activity ! | mikepompeyfan
18/6/2013 08:00 | Revenue 4.6 million I hope not | harrywilliam
18/6/2013 07:18 | Marketing services is the key issue here as it forms the core of their growth strategy, 30% ahead is pretty impressive. share price looks cheap to me. | owenski
18/6/2013 07:12 | Good update. Marketing acquisitions integrating well and forging ahead with expansion overseas. Nice to see exhibitions and pos businesses are performing well. Print has adapted to the changing environment. Balance sheet is still strong and forward p/e is well under 9. A lot more to go for here imo. | mikepompeyfan
18/6/2013 07:09 | Steady as she goes then. Nothing to scare the horses, but nothing to burn the paint off the walls either. | lord gnome
14/6/2013 15:39 | the tide comes in, the tide goes out........then in again......then out again.... depending on which season this happens and where you are geographically depends on how high the tide rises and falls. if you think as the short term price movements in stocks(the sea) all moving with the general sentiment(tides) then a picture evolves. hence using fundies rather than prices to make choices, why sell on a fcast p/e of 7.5 when it was 7.7 yesterday, its cheaper on value terms, and one day it wont be that cheap and worth of a sell irrespective of what the share price actually is. as the market rises, generally, most stocks will rise, and vice versa. some call this "noise". the only news worth reading are the RNS's, that way you don't get caught up in the barrage of noise. regards | mrwhits1
14/6/2013 15:28 | So do others think it was just a tree-shake on Wednesday? Has anyone heard any rumours of bad news on the radar for SIV? | 12at
14/6/2013 10:22 | Silchester used to own I think around 14-15%, now down to 12.36%. They bought quite low so given the volume, probably not that badly handled. Meanwhile Focus is buying. With Schroders, Ohio teachers etc also holding significant shareholdings, this share can move significantly as those funds change positions. | edmundshaw
14/6/2013 09:15 | Yep LG, buying op was yesterday :-) | owenski
14/6/2013 08:48 | A good recovery so far this morning. Perhaps yesterday was just down to a single seller and a badly handled trading programme. Roll on the IMS. | lord gnome
13/6/2013 14:18 | Whats happening ? I guess lots of trend following hedge funds are seeing there trailing stops hit accross the board. This means lots of tasty bargains in the next few weeks. Good stuff | spob
13/6/2013 14:17 | Odd trading pattern: Large number of small sales at 8am; Second flurry of sales at 9.30, then again at 10.30. Either one broker selling for a multitude of clients each hour or someone with their finger constantly on the sale button for short periods. Relatively quiet between those periods, pointing to one guy only. Any other thoughts ? | coolen
13/6/2013 13:53 | Ims was 14th June last year. I haven't found anything to say exactly when it will be this year. On the siv website it simply says 21st June will be the latest date for the ims so l guess it could be any time in the next 8 days. | mikepompeyfan
13/6/2013 10:08 | IMS due tomorrow, I think | grahamburn
13/6/2013 10:02 | We are due an IMS any day now. Hopefully this will confirm that all is well, the company is growing and that there are no hidden demons. | lord gnome |
