I'm buying a few more in an ISA today, seems an ideal way to get exposure to gold, and a dividend one day I expect. Teams nicely with Silver Wheaton where there's a divi already.

Exploration upside, extended minelife - it's one of the main reasons I took a position in Metanor and is key to the model. It's been a complete waste of capital into MTO so far but hoping Nolan and his team got it right and they get what they expect.

Here is an informative report on Sandstorm that's well worth a read. The one thing I hadn't fully appreciated about the model is the exploration upside that Sandstorm participate as the mine resources expand. Luna is a classic example, as their Aurizona mine has gone from a resource of just under 1m in 2009 when Sandstorm did the stream to nearly 4m now....and there could be plenty more gold from the sound of it. No wonder Nolan and co put so much effort into selecting the right companies to enter into streams with.

I have been in SLW for some years but never came across SSL. Just too many companies and not enough time but just wanted to congratulate all Sandstorm investors. Its performance has been amazing.

Wow nearly $14. Would be a good time to announce another stream and this can't be far off after recent fundraising and comments from Nolan Watson.

If you are looking for an ADVFN chart for SSL then the warrants (exp 2014) would be good in the header.



They also do a 2015 exp A warrant although liquidity is a lot less

I think you just have to lock this share up for a few years imo. It looks overbought but is currently showing $13.70 on the TSX pre opening! It could stay overbought for a quite a while as it will now be on the radar of a lot of institutional investors as a smaller alternative to Franco Nevada
