13/4/2016 08:47 | Selling at a profit can never be a big mistake. Missing bigger gains is shame but not a tragedy , esp if you can buy back cheaper next week/month. I like this stock as a good yield and a good trading stock, so can play it either way. | wad collector

29/3/2016 12:00 | Seems to be plenty of support for SSE recently. Income bit is obvious but maybe something more. | brulot
10/3/2016 08:33 | Agree but also become a tradable share . I let some go at 1480 this morning. 10% in 6 weeks will do. | wad collector

09/3/2016 15:23 | Ironically I switched our elec from Npower to SSE recently. SSE were by far the most competitive of those that I contacted. Npower didn't appear interested in retaining our business. | speedsgh
09/3/2016 10:05 | After successive bad results from Npower and Eon in the last 2 days , I am a bit surprised that the share price is so perky here today. And I doubt that SSE has hoovered up the departing customers .I worry slightly whether the yield can be maintained in line with the policy. Prelims here not out for another 2 months. Maybe time to trade some out? | wad collector

04/2/2016 11:58 | Mate, almost all uni engineering depts have battery projects, and probably have done since a year after electricity was discovered. The idea that a microcap can come along and simply produce a viable technology for grid storage (which no one else can) is simply a chancer floating tat to make his milliuons. The nearest to grid storage is dinorwig, and even that can't be justified as most think by storing cheap energy and selling expensive energy (although it does do that as a secondary duty). D works by holding the capability of supplying instantly available resevre power, which is worth many times the typical peak spot price. Although it cost alot, it paid for itself very quickly and didn't even have to supply power to do so (other stations operated much more efficiently by removing their previous burden of supplying primary reserve). I'm afraid viable grid scale direct electricity storage is still miles away, whatever the latest high tech micrcap director tells you. | pierre oreilly

28/1/2016 15:12 | Update ok but a lot of customers lost. I topped sliced put some funds into kie and vsvs, diversity a bit. Will rebuy if we go back in the £13.50ish region. | wipo1

25/1/2016 14:07 | A little like as oil prices fall 50%, petrol doesn't go down that much due to tax, our electricity prices now carry the fixed burden of green subsidies on our bills. Or in electricity prices, any input fuel costs decrease seem to go 100% for the benefit of the generators and suppliers, so don't seem to go down at all! | pierre oreilly
25/1/2016 12:58 | How much have you noticed your electricity bill drop? | wad collector

22/1/2016 16:46 | Yes , I am very happy with 1332p buy ; up 55p in 2 days. Not really a surprise though it is largely luck. Up another couple of quid and I might let them go again. If that does not happen for a while then I shall enjoy a pretty secure 6.5% yield . There is always the off-chance of a bid at some point and the only real downside is that cash is tied up here ; not so much a case of not investing what you cannot afford to lose , more a case of not investing what you cannot afford to be without for a while. | wad collector
22/1/2016 15:55 | Wad Better day today, I managed to buy near the bottom yesterday, that's rare for me lol. | wipo1

21/1/2016 13:43 | Pierre Gaps don't always fill at the exact price, I logged in my share dealing account to buy more rmg and had some spare cash to pick up sse.I did post at the time of the trade not after it recovered. £13 OR £13.37 it hardly matters much. | wipo1 |
