30/3/2022 11:25 | Funny that the RNS was entitled Notification of Closed Period rather than TU, I missed it first time. | wad collector
29/3/2022 08:07 | The long term chart on this looks really strong. I think this could quite happily work its way up to 2000 in the medium term. Right place right time! | jungle raver
29/3/2022 08:03 | And a new ATH @1720p. | skinny
29/3/2022 07:59 | A positive update: "SSE PLC on Tuesday raised earnings guidance for fiscal 2022, as renewable electricity production benefited from better weather conditions in the fourth quarter. The U.K. energy group, which owns power-eneration plants and networks, forecast adjusted earnings per share of between 92 pence and 97 pence ($1.20-$1.27) for the year ending March 31. Previously, in February, SSE had said that adjusted EPS would be at least 90 pence." | bountyhunter
23/3/2022 07:14 | For info ATH and ATH close were both on 28th Feb 2022 @1711 & 1704.50p | skinny
22/3/2022 21:31 | 1700 at the close, perhaps a closing record? Intra-day still a few pence off, 1701p i/d high today .... vs... I know it hit 1703p in Feb-2020, just not the date off the top of my head. Perhaps we should expect a bit of nerves+retrace before it builds up the courage to firmly break out upwards? | jrphoenixw2
22/3/2022 20:43 | Yes slowly but surely heading for a new all time high! 😀 Moving increasingly into renewables / low carbon resources is looking like a very wise decision now. | bountyhunter
22/3/2022 11:44 | Looks like we might have another go at 1700 soon. Proving to be one of my better shares at the moment! | jungle raver
08/3/2022 08:39 | Yep OHRE (Orsted) share price has been going great guns Wondering if it's windfall tax fears | williamcooper104
08/3/2022 08:38 | I'm surprised this is not considerably higher given the likely big increase in revenues from green electricity sales. | bountyhunter
04/3/2022 17:22 | And the green/renewables angle. Out of sixty odd holdings, my only blue today were SSE,CNA & ITM. | skinny
04/3/2022 16:34 | I suspect it is more about SSE being seen as a safe haven in a crisis, and also Russian Gas perhaps reminding us of our desire to move away from imported fossil fuels. | wad collector
02/3/2022 21:46 | This may explain the recent rise, although not today's retrace.. | bountyhunter
02/3/2022 21:43 | absolutely, just filter the trash | bountyhunter
02/3/2022 09:27 | Just seen his other posts , another unhinged one for the filter. | wad collector
01/3/2022 20:15 | What happened today, did green energy suddenly go out of fashion or just a reflection of the general market malaise!? | bountyhunter
01/3/2022 08:02 | Yes it has attempted this level 5 times and each time hasn't held afterwards. Follow through would be very positive. | 18bt
28/2/2022 17:29 | Wow,new all-time high here today, I think. Onwards and upwards! | alexisk
28/2/2022 14:16 | I do like the ATH today though, hold and prosper, this country needs its electricity more than ever. | wad collector
28/2/2022 14:14 | I'll take the rubble - what with building material inflation :) | williamcooper104
28/2/2022 14:13 | Probably better rubles than rubble but not much! Bit optimistic to think that BP might have cash from Gazprom, just a big write-off . | wad collector
28/2/2022 08:26 | So long as you don't mind being paid in RUB/rubbles :) | williamcooper104
28/2/2022 08:25 | Could BP's exit of Rosneft provide cash for a protentional acquisition of SSE? | aeu97137 |
