17/1/2022 08:43 | I agree, almost a no-brainer ATM. Be careful though 12 months down the line when the gov belatedly realises the futility of intermittent generation. When subsidies dry up - as they will, they are unaffordable - windmills be a hot potato. I'm holding here for at least another 6 months while the gov, i.e. the taxpayer, throws vast amounts of money at windmills, then moving to some uranium exposure. | pierre oreilly
17/1/2022 08:23 | Going up. Renewables is the new sector everyone wants a piece of. | bountyhunter
16/1/2022 11:40 | More on that... SSE is 'potential takeover target' after renewables repositioning, says Goldman ...the strong visibility on capital allocation and the growing importance of scale in the industry, means the analysts expect consolidation to drive M&A between the relatively fragmented global renewables market. “We believe that SSE stands out as a possible target were we to see M&A in the sector owing to a favourable combination of high earnings exposure to low-risk, infrastructure activities (RES, grids) and its relatively small market cap.” Goldman’s price target reflects a perceived fundamental valuation of 1,372p per share and a new “M&A valuation” of 1,671p. | bountyhunter
16/1/2022 11:13 | Scottish seabed auction. The divi upcoming divi cut makes sense in the context of all this investment driving growth. Hope to see SSE secure some in this round. Interesting to see so many oil companies pushing into this space. SSEs market cap of £17bn vs, for example, Shells of £140bn interesting too. A takeover would be quite easily affordable and arguably a wise move. | sd_anon

10/1/2022 14:31 | Simply Wall Street released a report on SSE today. I quote the first paragraph in its exact entirety: SSE plc's (LON:SSE) dividend will be increasing to UK£0.26 on 10th of March. This will take the dividend yield from 5.0% to 5.0%, providing a nice boost to shareholder returns. | meanreverter

02/1/2022 14:05 | Tipped in the Telegraph for 2022. Interesting comment that the divi cut is now 'priced in'. Can't argue with that as it isn't new news now. Also tipping GAW, a favourite of mine, stand out performance for a number of years now, with further yet to run. | sd_anon
