"Expanding our DAS partnerships in Asia" - New photo in the gallery. Recognise anyone? |
It's a tough call isn't it - if they actually announce one of the much-anticipated contracts you could see this going through the roof. Just how 'imminent' are they? Do you feel lucky punk? |
I just bought 22695 shares @17.88p to average down the cost of my holding. I hope that it is not throwing away the money. |
I disagree Yump-this company has been to the table many times looking for working capital.Taking on big contracts needs working capital-tooling up, personnel blah blah. Its other weakness is the balance sheet-why would big companies and countries take a risk in thinly capitalised partners.
Its to their credit that they are even on the same pitch as the bigger players but ultimately the business needs proper working capital |
Fft
Afaik I didn’t say anything about success or placings.
God this is like politics. Don’t read what anyone else is posting - just dump what’s in your head. |
Pinkfoot Ambulance chasing not referring to you, but if you want to associate yourself with one its up to you. The moron is just here for no reason other than, well, who knows. Just the same on orher threads.
Try reading my posts and understanding properly what I said about your (yet again) comment on larger group, the completely changed investment that would make it, the fact that the problems with contract signings and delivery up to now are nothing to do with funding of SRT, ST’s phillipines problem is nothing to do with funding or size, etc etc.
The only relevant part is that only recently the financial ratio issue for future projects had arisen. That is a function of the existing contract delays, not SRT’s size.
Unless you think a load of brown envelopes and dodgy chums would have changed things.
I assume you actually do read posts ? |
You’re not the only one-I caught FOMO on this one, largely because of being in it for so long.
Hopefully there is another rabbit-if not, this is heading below 10p. |
How I got drawn in again at 60p and 22p defies belief is beyond me, another AIM disaster story. |
Most of the equity is held either by board (or ex-board) members or very high net worth individuals - who range from campsite entrepreneurs in Devon to former top finance people to the most recent, viz Clake via Oceans Infinity. Most of the new money over the years has come from them. There has been very limited access for PI's to the various fund raisings. |
looks like this is joining the 90% club,,, june 23, one year, nearly 90% value lost,, might be time to start making changes to the board |
I wouldn't have thought so crystball, but I do think that they would have done a modicum of due diligence on SRT, starting with a perusal of their financials - which over the years clearly shows extreme over-optimism barely punctured by repeated profit warnings and subsequent needs for fresh capital. A careful check of what they were currently claiming would no doubt have been made.
Their hiring stance does not look or feel like they are stressed and I fully expect both the Indonesian and Saudi projects to start soon. |
Will Ocean Infinity make an offer to buy SRT? I wonder. |
I’m not an ambulance chaser Yump-I have been saying for a long while that the company should be sold to a bigger group and have stayed with it on the basis the BOD would have the same view.
As for Homeboy, he does make some valid points but the delivery could be improved. No one likes a ‘told you so’ especially when it’s heading south |
In June 23 they raised 5m at 50p a share. In Dec 23 they raised 10m at 35p a share. That, yump, cannot be called successful and the share price is now half of the last raise. Assuming one of the contracts gets over the line, they shouldn't need any more money, but the share price action in the last week or 2 is the same as many companies who are raising money. The lack of buying at these levels could mean a lack of confidence or that the big holders on here are inside ! I don't know. |
Not the best investment case when you have to rely on a recruitment angle involving one engineer.
The company really has to say something in the next few days.As always, I’m keen to see a balance sheet |
Indeed goodapple, so much so that they were looking for a support engineer based out there to help customers iron out any issues. |
A small glimmer of light in the current darkness: em-trak's B954 Transceiver topped the best selling AIS products list for their USA main distributor, CWR Distribution. First time their Class B has topped the chart, though their Class A has been selling well recently. Certainly em-trak seems to be gaining traction over there. |
i suspect the, complicated politically dependant contracts that are always so tantalisingly imminent, are low margin construction type contracts, they probably make high margin on only one element, the software component, the rest is building and structures and other peoples radar and stuff sold with a small handling margin attached, the software sales might be the high margin element but is only a fraction of the overall revenue as i understand it,,,, not an attractive business in my esteemed opinion and the years you lot have wasted here has borne that out,,,18p after all these years,,, |
Another blank post - what’s the point ? What a sad little person. |
the last missive from your company, 24 april,,, "Trading remains in line with market expectations." market doesn't believe it does it, share price is the only reality here
personally, i wouldn't be basing investment decisions on eu red or yellow cards, politics trumps such nonsense everytime and the politics here are, philippines have a system that some powerful internal lobby groups dont seem to want, as a result there seems to be a complaint against your chief, this strikes me as not a clear cut business to be involved in, too many shenanigans going on meanwhile the clock is ticking on the new year end, they cant keep pushing the year end out, what an embarrassment pulling that stunt |
I don't know about all that C5. There is also the geo-political angle which might override any IUU concerns as well as the EU-Philippines FTA currently being fast-tracked. The EU-Vietnam FTA is already in force and they still have a yellow card. |
