They could just as well have limited it to 'use'. Maybe 'operationalize' means turning it on, and maybe off and on again if it gets the jitters? |
LaV: 'operationalise'? Sounds worse than that job title! |

'The main responsibility of a Regional Customer Success Manager is to train, coach and support our customers on how to operationalise and use our maritime surveillance and management system.' |
What does a customer success manager do? Celebrate? (I'm not up to speed with modern job titles.) |
Another post being advertised for Jeddah. This one is a Regional Customer Success Manager. Over 100 applicants for the General Manager position advertised recently, according to Linkedin. SRT gearing up for something substantial. EDIT: You got there first LaVal |
Their hiring doesn't suggest that they feel they are on their uppers.
A regional success manager to be based in Saudi (I think last advertized the role was based in the UK). So Saudi is going to be the regional HQ.
A couple of bods and what looks like a replacement sensors engineer. What caught my eye with this is part of the job is specifying and designing mobile sites, for land, sea and air. |
Supernumerary-I don’t think many out there saw the operational challenges that SCE has thrown at us and many more intelligent investors than me too.Its a terrible market to make mistakes and ask for money |
I think its “just” confirmation bias having invested. I can only think of 2 reasons why it isn’t happening here. |
OT - sorry. My last comment here on this matter.
pf2 - you don't ramp? For myself I believe that if it waddles like a duck, quacks like a duck, and floats like a duck, then it's safe to assume - it's a duck.
Below are some typical examples of your SCE posts over the last several years. Worth noting that not only is this clearly ramping, it's also dead wrong, from start to end. But others can judge for themselves - spam or not? Valuable insight or not?

I don’t ramp and SCE is all about production-SRT is all about contracts |
Fair's fair - you're doing it on sce, and they've got an awful lot more still to prove. |
Keep ramping CM-only a solid set of numbers is needed to keep the wagon rolling |
Market cap of SRT is £41 million! |
Lav states, quite rightly ‘The price will be straight back up again once they announce the start of the two contracts’. Knowledge of the start timing for these two contracts would be very ‘price sensitive information’. The Indonesia financing is being decided by Santander, UKEF and the Indonesian Ministry of Finance (MOF), Mr T will not know the exact date of the actual signing (electronically?) between the Attorney Generals? of both countries. There will probably be a ceremonial signing later. Both of these contracts have kit waiting in store to enable timely delivery of the monitoring equipment, in about 3 weeks, as the first milestones. These first milestones are high margin, because they include the SRT software and could deliver possibly £50 million of cash. The arrival of cash will be transformational in many ways. It will improve the credit rating of the company, allowing it to obtain better credit and purchase terms for CCTV, radar and computer equipment on future contracts. SRT has, and is acquiring an impressive reputation for the following:- 1. Delivering a sophisticated, reliable and effective monitoring system. 2. A cost effective system. An AIS based system is cheaper than a satellite-based system, with its high annual costs. 3. The SRT system is controlled by the host Country. Information feeds are not controlled by others. The SRT reputation is its best marketing tool. Coastguards and officials talk to other countries. I understand that the US navy recommends SRT because of its experience in Bahrain |
I’m relying on the RNS of 8/3/24 which stated they were maintaining the FY 24 revenue, albeit in the 15 months to 30/6/24. |
Has anyone been in touch recently to find out what is going on? |
We seem to have gone from a company quite happy to share all the good stuff ,in the spirit of openness ,to a vacuum of information, leading to pure guesswork in here |
CM5. Why do think there is loads of cash ? What's happened to all the loan notes via the Cayman islands or wherever? Have they been paid off ? |
The price will be straight back up again once they announce the start of the two contracts - the current price seems to be discounting these. However, will they ever learn to give up their insane working capital management practices and only order goods when they have the final go-ahead? |
But the list of substantial holders isn't long - and they may all be in the phone book. What price would interest them is the question. |
There are hardly any institutional investors, so not so easy to make a few phone calls and raise the white flag. Didn't think I'd ever see 20p again, but then I doubt the directors did either. |
CM-it’s low for a reason. There is a lot of hope in the current share price but all could change in next 5 weeks |
