27/7/2016 16:46 | I note the return of posters with their critical comments. I fail to understand why these people of little faith don't lock into their enormous gains and move on. The MM's would like their stock. Perhaps they are afraid that there will be a RNS tomorrow at 7 am | countryman5
27/7/2016 15:45 | Perhaps we'll get half a dozen eggs each at the next AGM....just in case. | mjcrockett
27/7/2016 14:30 | Jam on his face... | yumyum
27/7/2016 14:24 | I just hope Mr Tucker doesn't end up with egg on his face rgds the jam caper at the agm and we are still here in 6 months with no other deals done! | hjb1
27/7/2016 11:32 | I look at the graph everyday and chortle about Black Rock. : ) | dieseltaylor
27/7/2016 11:06 | goodapple - I agree fully, this board is one of the best on here especially on AIM. I was just making sure I wasn't missing anything. Happy to wait to read good things when they happen. | joesoap3
27/7/2016 09:58 | JoeSoap I prefer sensible and quiet to active and full of junk. When there's something of interest, I'm sure you'll find it here. | goodapple
27/7/2016 09:52 | Am I missing some posts or has nobody written anything on here since post number 3020 which is the last entry on my screen. Normally it is such an active and sensible board | joesoap3
21/7/2016 10:06 | maybe SRT should have a word with the RN. | alter ego
19/7/2016 18:23 | story about ARM. when working in a small corporate finance dept- of 2... i discovered arm - then a subsidiary of acorn which floundering. Told the boss we should do a MBO with them.... he was not interested....doh! | pyman
19/7/2016 15:26 | Fred, it matters not what the share price does today or the next few weeks/months...just chill out and enjoy the sunshine, crack open a few tinnies and let this ride.. | hjb1
19/7/2016 14:22 | Personally, I'd now expect these to drift lower until another contract announcement is made - at which point, if it's of any size, the sky's the limit. I already have more than I'm comfortable with, but am temporarily willing it down to jump in with both feet when another contract's awarded, or when my patience wears thin. Short term, the share price is in the lap of the gods.... | fredfishcake
19/7/2016 12:17 | Yes, would be nice to see a mini ARM developing here, high tech, UK firm etc. although more niche than ARM's products. Kicking myself as I sold 10,000 of those at sub 50p,over 10 years ago. Won't make that mistake with SRT. | 2vdm
19/7/2016 11:47 | new material orders needed..now! | hjb1
19/7/2016 11:27 | I have bought as low as 18.5p, continued buying in the 20s, 30s, 40s, was expecting to pay 50s today but have just bought more at 49.65p. I have faith that these prices will look waywardly low once there is a reassessment of the profitability of SRT going forward. A p/e of 20 would not be unreasonable in this low interest rate environment combined with SRT's very exciting prospects. Earnings 2017/18 I estimate at around 15p per share, so a share price of £3 would not be unreasonable at all. Of course we have to wait for the orders/contracts to come in.... Anyway I am not selling until the takeover. | yumyum
19/7/2016 07:01 | Philippines government under pressure from their population to protect their disputed territorial waters, should help focus minds in this region to ongoing contract negotiations. | interceptor2
18/7/2016 22:48 | ...and the jar of jam. | goodapple
18/7/2016 22:47 | Happy for the city being yet to learn about SRT. | goodapple
18/7/2016 22:05 | Maybe the dog is not telling you everything? | yumyum
18/7/2016 21:59 | I'd believe that entirely if it wasn't for the city contact ;-) | yump
18/7/2016 21:53 | With reference to the recent surge in share price: My dog's vet's wife's uncle drinks in a pub who's landlord's ex fiancée knows a fellow who's brother works in the City................ .................... .................... and he hasn't heard anything. Nice to be well connected ! | buck581
18/7/2016 19:16 | ARM surely it is just the greedy Insti's who need to do the deals to satisfy their hungry investors | 9degrees
18/7/2016 18:15 | Hopefully SRT's distributors are up there on searches for AIS, even if its not apparent that they are SRT transponders. Although maybe the majority of sales come through people visiting the outlet they get their other stuff from, so they can get advice at the same time. I wonder what volume is actually sold online.. | yump
18/7/2016 18:00 | Dylan I think in the header there is a post by Kinbasket which talks about competitors. The basic point is that for retail products most have SRT inside, a fact that the brand owners are not keen for their customers to discover. SRT have their own brand emTrack, which has completely different distribution, although a branded 'SRT inside' product may well sit next to an emTrack one in a particular shop. In the Class A segment, there is more competition though some of those also have SRT inside. SRT hope to convert Furuno to this model with their new Class A. For the really big stuff, if you try googling AIS and Indonesia for example, you come up with sod all. | lavalmy
18/7/2016 12:34 | Very minor point but if you do a google search for AIS and associated terms we don't appear very high up the list - is this something that ST has been asked about before? | dylanl2 |
