01/2/2021 09:10 | Doesn't read well for Scottish builders | lossieloon
15/12/2020 09:07 | Yes..just read it. Very positive...I like the debt reduction. | meijiman
15/12/2020 08:36 | A welcome and very encouraging update. | alan@bj
30/11/2020 11:40 | Good news on the first contract for the Private Rental Sector. | trustman
01/11/2020 21:07 | I thought we might hear more from the AGM, perhaps an RNS update. What is interesting is that the company are giving a presentation to retail investors at 4pm on November 10th. That should bring out current direction and momentum. As I understand it Boris is not shutting down construction this time-will Nicola follow the same line? | trustman
27/10/2020 08:51 | Thanks for the reply Trustman. I subsequently re-read your text and worked out the intention. I should have done that before typing my message. I don't hold at the minute but am watching. Much like you, I saw the commitment to the dividend as a positive. | rp19
24/10/2020 23:40 | Hi Trustman, I don't understand your message. I may have misunderstood, but sounds like you are unsure that the dividend will be paid but otherwise expect positive news? | rp19
24/10/2020 19:12 | AGM next Friday. If they can pay a dividend, I will be surprised.....and very disappointed if they haven't benefitted from some of the conditions that have helped other UK housebuilders. | trustman
29/9/2020 11:32 | Debt reduction is excellent news-they had bad luck in a way with the date of their year end and Covid halt to sales. 2p dividend speaks volumes for ongoing confidence! | trustman
29/9/2020 09:41 | Broker note out as well. Great little company this........... | meijiman
29/9/2020 09:27 | RNS - Scotland's only quoted housebuilder's home completions and cashflow have recovered sharply from the country's prolonged lockdown, with delayed sales fuelling what the Group predicts will be a strong first half to the current financial year. Today's FY 2020 results, to May, show the impact of the lockdown in the final two months, which normally account for almost a third of sales, but confirm that delayed sales are expected to add to strong underlying demand in H1 2021, with debt having fallen by over GBP25m in four months and a 2p final dividend proposed. Our reinstated forecasts assume PBT surpassing the previous record by FY2022E and debt continuing to fall. | alan@bj
29/9/2020 08:33 | Respectable results given the disruption caused by the pandemic. Very happy to continue to hold. | alan@bj
08/9/2020 11:18 | I'm biased but sooner or later this surely has to catch up (to some degree) with English peers! | trustman
13/8/2020 08:50 | He's no mug...great company this | meijiman
13/8/2020 06:34 | The purchase by Sir Angus Grossart in mid June is I suspect very significant. He nearly doubled his holding with a c£1M purchase from the chairman's interests. | trustman
08/7/2020 16:12 | That's not a truism. | alan@bj
08/7/2020 14:07 | update says they have a 'strong balance sheet'. seems to bear out the truism that those claiming a strong balance sheet tend to have a good deal of debt. | mw8156
08/7/2020 09:04 | Very good update indeed all things considering........ | meijiman
08/7/2020 07:11 | Good trading update. | alan@bj
07/7/2020 21:34 | When can they start fullscale operations? | trustman
13/5/2020 12:02 | This is an extract from today's ADVFN Markets Bulletin:- "On the upside, housebuilders were the standout gainers after the government said the property market in England could reopen, with renters and buyers now free to move house and property viewings in person allowed. Barratt Developments, Taylor Wimpey, Persimmon and Berkeley were all firmly in the black." So, when the Scottish government eventually relaxes its Covid restrictions, we should see a decent bounce in Springfield. | alan@bj
24/4/2020 12:12 | Featured in "10 cheap small caps" in the IC today. Housebuilders in England re-opening. Scotland clearly having a grown-up conversation (copyright N. Sturgeon) and keeping theirs closed at the moment. | 18bt
16/4/2020 18:57 | Talk of building restart in England. | trustman |
