High Growth Capital specifically listed on NEX to make cannabis investments and become a quasi-tracker. Last week they capitulated and said there are no decent investments and decided to make an AI investment instead. Seems only ANA and SATI have a clue about this space.

Funny though that in their previous announcements they made out that cbd isn't a departure from their o&g/chemicals expertise.

makes sense to have the right team on board for this new business direction

Looks like back to square one again. Keen not to smash share price so placed to give those guys an exit and let them keep their warrants. Surprised Peterhouse didn't convince them to issue new equity for the commission and wet their beaks with the usual cheap warrants.

personally, being into healthfood / supplements / exercise, I can see this taking off and has potential to be a 10 bagger like Tilray.

You only have to look how protein supplements have exploded, from being limited use by body builders to whole isles in supermarkets.. People buy the stuff even if they don't even exercise.. a bit like obese people thinking they need energy drinks.

I guess a portion of shareholders who signed up for an oil / gas project may not be so keen on a snake oil (ahem, I mean CBD oil) deal.

So bottom line, after assembling the O&G dream team which couldn't get a deal, nor with SI Capital couldn't assist, we've jumped into bed with Peterhouse to follow a fad sector. Peterhouse will look to feather their own nest and look after their clients as opposed to shareholders and previous placees.
