30/10/2005 21:55 | Toggle, Wrong company - think you may find that it is Sprint, who work with Nextel You won't be the first to make the same mistake ! PS : Wish we had some positive newsflow from SPT, in the same manner - lol | desperate dan

28/10/2005 15:55 | Well done with AHT - I lost patience when it stuck around 13p for so long and got out - DOH!! | fouroaks
28/10/2005 12:28 | Hi FourOaks....Well I learnt my lesson & put it to good use on AHT in @ 4.5p March 2003 & still there now @ 137p. So if it hadn't been for SPT's massive rise from where I sold it I would still be a "relative short termer" on most of my plays I guess. I'm still making lots of mistakes though.....I suppose the "market mood" isn't helping & ADVFN's stock challenge says it all with not one of the 115 entrants in profit. SPT does look as though it will severely test 40p either today or next week... Trouble with a falling share price & an ailing company is that it attracts the shorters...so combine that with an "Institution Seller" (possibly/probably) & you have the recipe for a further fall. Hope not though for all concerned. | hatto
28/10/2005 12:17 | Hi Hatto - all the old names coming back into the frame! Yes I too cut my teeth on SPT, but maybe a shade earlier than you - I originally bought in at 6p shortly after the profit warning (when John Weston bought his 1.6m shares and the following day said it was all a mistake and everything will be fine!!). Yep, like you broke all the rules and had my entire portfolio in SPT, 500k at one point at an average cost of around 10p - if only I'd hung on to 80p :-) | fouroaks
28/10/2005 11:46 | Good afternoon everyone. SPT was my first ever success when I started in this game three years ago. Got in @ 18p averaged down till the share price hit 10p & then rode it back up & sold @ about 28p from memory. When SPT hit 10p I think I had all my money in this one play. So SPT really was the start to my good fortune in the shares game.... Course I knew didly squat in those days & broke most of the rules for successful dealing. Learnt a lot of valuable lessons though with my time in SPT...especially to be patient & SPT's rise upto the high 70p's/80p's was certainly no fun for me. If only I hadn't sold etc.... I nearly got back in recently @ 51p & am so surprised to see SPT's further fall from there..... The thing that collapsed SPT's share price three years back was Standard Life having a massive offload & it would appear that something similar is happening with this current fall. The large trades yesterday must surely have been accumilated Sells & the large trades today the same. Anyway best of luck to all holders..... | hatto
28/10/2005 11:31 | Brown Trousers indeed - so frustrating that SPT never comment, newsflow is just Diabolical | blakey4531
28/10/2005 10:01 | Hi Andaleg - just like old times! We've all sat through SPT volatility at 'brown trouser' time and it looks like we're here again. There've certainly been some chunky trades recently, I guess someone's dumping, but equally someone else is buying, so not all bad :-) | fouroaks
28/10/2005 08:39 | I think they have just sold them again ! | andaleg
28/10/2005 08:21 | What is going on with the SPT SP, down and down and down ...... even with the huge buys of yesterday ????? | jsaleem
