15/9/2010 10:40 | Isthe action any thing to do with the div being paid yesterday and that they can re-invest tax free?? with currently still about 8% to go..... to 70p its worth it... also today looks like options have now been cashed into shares as well... not sure anything more will happen here.. i hope it does but can't see it.. I'm picking up more at the 65.25 when i can just to nab some easy cash! 27th is D-day... bring on another bid.. but not holding my breath. | the heed
15/9/2010 06:48 | something big is coming, both Martin and Peter acquired spi share yesterday | qipincha
03/9/2010 14:22 | the beagle: yes, sorry thought it was todays news! yes, you're spot on, could go for a bit more just yet! | mrx9000
03/9/2010 14:01 | Massive sells again this pm, but all being taken. 19 million yesterday plus 10 million today makes 14% of the company. Stake-building it must be. | the_beagle
03/9/2010 13:27 | mrx5000 That was yesterday's news. However it does not mean another party cannot make a counter bid. 5% of the company was bought by funds yesterday. OK, they may have bought to accept the 70p offer for a quick profit, or they may be stakebuilding. I think the latter and the next few days will be interesting imo. Buying at this price gives a small but guaranteed profit by accepting the bid, and the chance to make a bloody good turn if a bidding war starts. This is a very good company going in the right direction and will be on a number of watchlists. | the_beagle
02/9/2010 12:24 | 5% of the company has been sold so far today to what looks like a stake builder, whether a hedge fund who will try to get a better deal, or a potential bidder. Either way there only seems to be one direction from here. Today's buys, when announced later, will be disclosable if just 1% I think, so the next 24 hours will be interesting. | the_beagle
02/9/2010 11:57 | Are they not already x div ? Will still make £174.00 on 10,000 shares.With possibility of a rival bidder. Just added 10K. | ken298
02/9/2010 11:21 | 5% including the 1.22 div is that right? if you get in at the 67.75 level.... 5% in a month not bad.. | the heed
02/9/2010 11:18 | Just bought in at 67.87 on a T20. Looks like a no can lose situation to me. | the_beagle
02/9/2010 08:57 | anyone else watching L" 2. support of 67p is gaining by the minute...;-) | jab118
02/9/2010 08:06 | I also believe those short positions with the hedge funds companies could be feeling rather hot under the collar..;-) | jab118
02/9/2010 07:44 | indeed... dierectors may have decided to speed things up and announce the offer ( with recommendation ) to kick the other offerer into gear.. just because the directors have stated the backing doesn't mean its done and dusted.. although the market is indicating that it thinks its a one man show.. market ain't allways right though... i will buy a few more if it drops to the 66.5p | the heed
02/9/2010 07:44 | Sounds like a done deal to me. | fender68
02/9/2010 07:35 | heed But wasn't that stated yesterday, that there was another interesting party, as well as Cinven ? | jab118
02/9/2010 07:11 | The door is still open for some competition to come in... not convinced there isn't another bidder will to pay a bit more..... fingers xed! | the heed
02/9/2010 06:48 | 70p does seem low, would still represent a nice profit for me though, will watch this very closely, greed knows no master, and it will soon be time for me to move on elsewhere! well done all holders over last couple of months. | nwalsham15
02/9/2010 06:37 | Given what they said yesterday about the billing business, 70p seems too low.. | jazza
01/9/2010 20:32 | what a great finish today lots more to come imho | gucci
01/9/2010 15:40 | gucci, more than a true word said in jest > ;-) | jab118
