26/5/2017 17:13 | Hi chainman - I added a few days ago as it looked like sellers were drying up so hopefully good for another leg up from here | davr0s
26/5/2017 16:32 | I hope so Investoree, the spanner in the works being the nervous couple of weeks leading up to the election. It's a swift ascent to 60.5p if we do, followed by a short period of consolidation before striking at 63p. Previous resistance levels in my view have been at 45, 51, and 57p. If we have cleared 57 i am hoping for 63p in short order. | rumbers2
26/5/2017 15:35 | hI davros did u manage 2 get bak in at 54 | thechainman
26/5/2017 15:17 | To all long suffering shareholders are we actually going to make a confirmed year high breakout this time and hopefully fill the gap up? | investoree
16/5/2017 08:06 | So a transformational year. These should be one of the market leaders fir return on equipment and customer services.Well placed to reap the rewards of Mays ambitious social housing programme. | my retirement fund
12/5/2017 21:16 | Finals on Tuesday, they should be able to report they are very busy - not sure if they will be able to claim they are making any money though ? | my retirement fund
02/5/2017 15:56 | £7.50 a month in that case. But you must make at least one trade transaction every two years. | rumbers2
02/5/2017 15:14 | tkx for your help. I might transfer some funds if I can get L2. In case I don't trade once a month(very unlikely) how much do they charge? | prokartace
02/5/2017 13:28 | Just a share account but I think it applies to ISA too but you should check with them | davr0s
02/5/2017 13:00 | So you have a normal share account. Is it an ISA? | prokartace
02/5/2017 11:45 | Yes but it's not much and you get it refunded if do one share buy or sell a month. It also shows on my iPhone which is handy if I am out and about | davr0s
02/5/2017 10:16 | do you have to pay for L2 from IG? I have a spread betting account with them | prokartace
29/4/2017 07:13 | L2 gottya, thought you said 'twelve' lol .. my brain is turning to pap. I use L2 from IG Some days it gives you insight, others it's as clear as mud. Wish it had a radar to reveal hidden iceberg orders. | rumbers2
29/4/2017 07:01 | Level2 - ie the order book. I use it when considering buying/selling a share as you can often tell when a share price is about to surge or drop | davr0s
29/4/2017 03:43 | Sorry what is 12? | rumbers2
28/4/2017 20:05 | Not yet as been out of action today and when I briefly looked I saw l2 wasn't suggesting a big rise today, but I own a decent slug anyway, and will buy if l2 weakens next week | davr0s
28/4/2017 16:41 | hi DavROs are you back in with some more today | derwent4
27/4/2017 13:08 | Good strategy DavRos. SDY is a bit of a maverick and does its own thing regardless. Will wait and see if 54p holds for more than a day, something it hasn't done since July 2015. | rumbers2
27/4/2017 09:59 | I must admit I try and take my brain out and try and not overthink things . What I see is SDY coming out of a stage 2 base and volume kicked on a bit since earlier post so getting more tempted to add if it can hold/move on. People buy and sell for all sorts of reasons and I am not going to second guess them - just ride the trend till it's broken. Also SDY not highly correlated with the wider market so when ftse lurches around SDY tends to ignore it unless things go very hairy | davr0s
27/4/2017 09:09 | Doubt we will see any decent buying volume with the spectre of worldwide Armageddon and nuclear war looming. That said some investors are going to remain entrenched in their bunkers for a very long time. Upbeat full year results expected on 16th - will they tell us anything we didn't already know from the January & March updates? DavR0s any thoughts re. crisis at HSS and how it will impact on SDY? (CEO resigns,£220m debt, likely multi-million £ share issue looming) Tosca now has 27% stake and continues to add in its determination to merge it with Speedy. | rumbers2
27/4/2017 08:22 | Based on what rumbers? I am holding and considering a top up but it needs decent buying volume above 54 before I get tempted to add and so far no follow through so could easily drop back. Still it's edging in the right direction | davr0s
27/4/2017 08:17 | This is the third stab at smashing that 54p resistance since December. Something tells me it may do it this time. | rumbers2
27/4/2017 08:02 | Whats with the hockey stick today? | my retirement fund
14/4/2017 14:25 | My view is different. The sooner HSS dies on its ar@e the better, as that puts the kibosh on Tosca's ambitions to merge it with Speedy. Why should we be saddled with its £220 million debt? Do you have a death wish? Nevertheless that remains its goal, purchasing yet millions more HSS shares last week giving it a whopping 26 percent stake in the company. I'd rather see it flounder and die so Speedy can pick through what valuable assets remain for a song! | rumbers2 |
