On the subject of research I came across someone who wears a white hat when using Spectrum Interactive's Internet desks in Heathrow Airport. H/she uses the pseudonym 'Honest' when relating their findings to an Italian oracle which is red.

Outsider and fellow shareholders.

A bit more about Spectrum Interactive which I don't think has been mentioned in the header or the thread, unless I have missed it. It's that Spectrum Interactive is listed in Tourist Information Centres in Britain which are staffed by multilingual professionals fluent in nine languages. The languages listed are Italian, French, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Afrikaans, German, Dutch and Swedish.

I am not sure how many Tourists Centres in other countries carry this information, or even how many Tourist Centres there are, but I could only find one which is for the Netherlands where the centres are staffed by "specialist multilingual information officers" and included in the nine languages is Russian and Welsh.

Now I am confused!

Yes spotted that, great to see someone else with faith in the co. Travelodge have bought another 5 hotels for 85 million all dotted around the country one in Bath ,one in Newcastle another in Scotland.They hope this will add another 700 rooms to the estate and hopefully they will all be kitted out by Spectrum!

yup but already mentioned very high profile new chairman & that contracts sound imminent with new appt of CEO........Significant on a tiny mkt cap like ashpool.

i am lurking but not dipped my toe in just yet - got my hands full with MDX and FRR at the minute - if one of those two would just do the business then might well be able to release some cash for some other investments such as this one - which is high on my list of possibles

Yup, I'm holding, I got in about a year ago, as usual, I spot bargains before they reach the bottom, I usually sell too early as well...

Hoping for great things over the next 18 months or so.

Whitbread announces that they have bought three major London hotels and have options on a further 12 and that they intend to transform them into their Premier inn brand which wiil increase room capacity in London by 6500 rooms. More work for Spectrum!
