FftOnly thing I'd say is that by not offering in the links it keeps people guessing as to what they got I think he would sell lumps at 84p via a call but only me guessing As an ex MM I wouldn't be using the links either now

Whats weird is that WHI are bidding 81.75 for 15,000 shares. No offer from anyone until 87.75p - and that isn't WHI ! WHI don't appear on the offer side at any price that I can see. So why keep there spread at 74p - 84p. Bears no resemblance to reality.

WHI just seem to want to slow things right down and gum up the works by not actually doing any trades ! Almost bringing the market into disrepute.

Hatful - you could well be right! Does seem to me though that the last update referred to advanced info from their customer about level of royalties. Once the quantum is known, which should be imminently, that should enable the company to quantify the extent of the beat. That said, I can see why that might wait until the prelims are calculated.

I agree with Tilly - We had two trading updates late last year (non in 2016) so no need for another (the fact they brought the trading update forward is a great sign). Looks like we'll need to wait until March for the FY results.

As far as volumes are concerned we have 151k Buys v 75k Sells since Dec 1. Low volumes but at least its the right direction.

Looking good, fingers crossed hope to be at 100p by March

Tilly, there could be one as it would follow the pattern of last year. On 1/12/16, the company said there would be no AGM (as usual!) and, by the way, the company is trading in line with expectations.On 4/1/17, the company said the results would significantly exceed expectations. On 11/12/17, the company said there would be no AGM (as usual!) and, by the way, the company is trading in line with expectations.Seems like a pattern to me even if it all seems a bit contrived. There was only a month between the two announcements in Dec16/Jan17 yet the expectations improved remarkably. The more recent proper trading update in 2017 has flagged excellent results but maybe Dec17 is the time when more gets known about the final numbers from the company's secretive clients?

I just checked on Halifax, l can sell upto 5k for 81.19p and upto 35k for 80.5p. But cannot buy any.

At the moment nothing offered inside the quote So either seller on Hday or he sniffs a good update or not using the links or advertising it OR best case scenario He's been bid for his stock!!Either way we know 80p is cheeaaap

Bizarre-Is ADVFN still playing up?

HSBC offered me 2500 at 87.something but then it hasn't completed. Maybe as fft says a seller is pondering?

Max you can buy according to RSP is 105 (!) at 87p. After that it is 100k at 105p.

Last year an end of year TU was issued in the first week of Jan. I wonder if news has leaked that one is due and the MM's / Seller has decided to see what it says. It shouldn't say much different from the TU of mid October , but that was 2 1/2 months ago and so while things for this year shouldn't be much different, I wonder if more clarity is expected regarding 2018 ?

Of course, as T99 says, it could just be a bored seller playing around. But at this rate it will take him a year to sell his holding.
