One frequent way in which people categorise stocks are between "Funadamentals / Value" and "Blue Sky". It is rare to find a stock which fits both.

On the "Fundamentals" side...note that SPSY has an extremely high stock rank of 93 on Stockopedia's Ranking System. The performance of a portfolio of Stock Ranks 90+ since Stocko started in 2013 is +155.2% compared to FTSE All share +5.2%. In terms of P/E Ratio.. if you adjust for cash and the further likely "beat" to $6.5m I fully expect...then FY20 is only on 16 times, even at this price.

If you like Blue Sky..then clearly Polymer Substrate, Trubrand, Major G7 Bank, Aeris could individually be transformational to our valuation. Plenty of other opportunities which could also move the dial...like Red Phosphour, Lottery, K Cups, Tyres, exotic counterfeit....

If you are a Technical Analyst...then note we are pushing through all time highs this week.

If you are an income seeker...the Divi just paid is a 4% yield, and much more secure than most on the stock market...given the earnings cover and cash backing on the Balance Sheet.

If you are a growth Investor...then achieving next year's forecasts will make 6 successive years of profit growth. However, the best by far is yet to come in the years beyond that...FY22 onwards.

If I was only allowed to own one share...it would be SPSY...without hesistation.

The low price has given us all a wonderful opportunity to build a large position though. Just got to be patient now whilst all the incredible opportunities we have are worked through and monetised.

The fundamentals will eventually take over Especially as Close has taken over 5m out of circulation so less sellers when good news appears Look what's happened since the last beat !!Yes we have had hiccups along the way but Nabil has always delivered and keeps inventing new products I've never met a more able person ..he is a top scientist with amazing commercial noose Market is missing a trick here ,hey ho

Keep telling them Nic we could do with some more buyers! Agree with everything you say on this one, the potential is extraordinary. Some write ups by financial press would help shine a light on the investment case here, very surprised someone like Simon Thompson has not noticed this one and commented on it. As you say there are not too many out there with rising divis for a start, never mind everything else!

Name me one other aim co with rising profits rising divis rising cash pile more inventions high margins very high barriers to entry best customers (central banks ) and huge opps? There are none ,for me this is a must buy and should be part of everyone's portfolios I've said this for a long time and at much lower levels ..not too late to buy ..if I held no shares I would be an aggressive buyer here Huge growth here and we are paid 5.5pct to hold !! Wow

That's why we are 180pBest opps come when there is limited visibility I've met Nabil and he can invest anything He is a genius A man to back imho Trubrand looks like it has enormous potential and the CB quite rightly love Nabil My price target is many multiples of this I may sell 2pct of my holding at 220p but otherwise I'm keeping for much much higher Most exciting company on Aim for me

Hi Nico

Sounds perfectly reasonable albeit we have very limited visibility on a lot of this.

Rereading the recent statement there is absolutely no reason why we can't double profits over the next few years 12m x pe of 15(now our mkt cap is nearly 100m so more instis will look ) 4 pounds target 2021If trubrand takes off 6 pounds 2024If substrate gains traction 10 pounds 2025In fact if we capture a decent percentage of the substrate market I'm expecting 20 pounds You may think I'm mad or talking my own book or Even both But I honestly think 20 pounds is attainable in 2025/28

I think the share price action yesterday was helped by Bruce Packard's commentary on Sharescope. Its a subscription service so i wont copy and paste but it was a fairly detailed outline of the history and made mention of the high operating and ROCE margins plus the potentially exciting opportunities that lie ahead.

This is a very exciting share to hold for sure. I keep reading the latest rns and it is just full of potential. I have held solidly for years and will keep holding and adding as and when funds allow. Having bought at 16 to 18 very heavily a long time ago I have continued to buy and put all my divi straight back into the stock recently.

Hi Nico,Is the share price moving up enough for you today ? :-)Have added over the last few weeks. Seems well timed :-). Results and prospects were good. Some very long term contracts out there to provide a solid base.

I keep being asked what I think Spsy is worth today Please no more messages on this as my inbox is inundated with the same questions So for the last time I think we are worth 300p today which is a paltry mkt cap of 130mBy 2025 I think we will be worth at least 8 pounds but obviously very hard to predict that far into the future without knowing the macro environment at the time Now that's it,I'm outta here as it all kinda repetitive Thanks

Ha Ha fozzie, AAZ and SPSY are my two largest holdings and were also my largest buys in March/April. They have both recovered but like you say, both are undervalued and under appreciated. Patience should be rewarded in both instances.
