27/10/2015 21:16 | on a deeper note KK, all this and the ability of some clever (and some not so clever) snake oil salesmen to manipulate markets/people to the extent that they seemingly can these days gives lie to the rather unpalatable truth that we are becoming an ever greedier and self obsessed society. Living away from the UK makes this all the more obvious, something you might be able to relate to being in that bit of adjacent land that's attached to my bit of land down here in sunnier climes :) | bumpa33

27/10/2015 10:21 | I agree. If I were a director then I would also be trying to get finance to save the company from going bust, especially if my own cash was also invested here. Maybe they will find a nearby partner with some cash with synergies that make sense and they can sit and wait?? | excellance
27/10/2015 10:02 | excellence - interest is certainly returning to the sector, but i'm pretty sure it's academic to SMA, there are far better prospects out there, both explorers and producers. In a gold boom/frenzy they may have got something away but there just isn't enough of interest here to anyone, let alone a major. This is what's been utterly ridiculous about the bulls claims here - that a major is going to be interested in a tinpot inferred resource like this! Nice try by the desperate board but no cigar. | bumpa33
27/10/2015 09:51 | Here's how I see it... Price of gold has fallen every year for four years meaning interest in gold prospects has also fallen... SMA has had the misfortune of being in a country ravaged by disease and political uncertainty... SMA also has the misfortune of delivering fairly average drill results and they need more cash to continue.. Of course there is value here but the market can get better value elsewhere...but the directors are tied in and risk losing their shirts... This will go private or will just go out of existence unless interest in gold returns very soon, but it may already be too late hence the share price of 0.75p and falling | excellance
27/10/2015 09:36 | lol are you now completely out of here bumpa ? | sigora
