Bumpa surely though if this has all been a fabrication the company would have set up a mechanism to benefit from such like a large placing to keep the salaries going (that they don't pay) etc?

Otherwise why not just bow out gracefully.

You can't have it both ways.

Bumpa

Ashanti have the same business model at Siguiri, the same area in Guinea as SMA, and they currently produce 68,000oz of gold per quarter.

Bumpa, if it was fabricated they would have got a placing when they could have for a few hundred grand around 1p.

Fact they haven't tells you they either forgot to complete the part of the fraud they set it up for or are actually in talks with a major.

Maybe so, but companies can't make statements unless they have paperwork to show. AIM is loosely regulated but what you suggest is tantamount to pure corruption !

the brave may well buy here, yes a big statement to make but pretty bloody nailed on if you look at what's gone on the last couple of years (nothing) and what they have, or rather don't have left.

I don't believe the news was made up. That's a big statement to make and it's simply an opinion with no facts or evidence. However the stock went from .12p to 1.77p and based on today's RNS the stock could fall back close to that. There is a lot of interest here and the brave might just buy the dip..4 - .5
