Idioterna - I know you're not trying to have a pop at me, but I am not one of anybody's 'punters'. I've been invested here since the beginning of 2006.

Is there any reason why the share price should be more than cash, which I reckon is 1.8p ?

Well, naturally I'm trying to calculate that in respect of the small sum I now have invested in the company!

It's surely primarily a matter of whether or not the Zhunuo option turns out to have any substance. If it does, then I would attribute value to it now, but...

Clearly, any remaining funds that might have gone to Danfeng can now be set against Zhunuo, so I guess the funding needs are reduced somewhat (ha ha!).

I remain curious as to Dr T's engagement in the story at this stage (he surely must have known the likely outcome from D?), and also in Idioterna's comments regarding bond issue rumours, etc.

I suspect that somebody will go on to make money out of this company, but whether or not that is current shareholders I cannot guess!

(Thanks , btw, and to others. I'm an investor, and accept that sometimes ones best and honest judgement turns out to have been unsoundly based).

ACs creibility is non-existtent right now (if my little tete a tete in Sing last weekend was anytthing to go by)... but simon was always just another of Strows punters... Strow is the man we want to get hold of...

Totally agree with you Kimboy.

This is awful news.

Plus I hardly think Strow a ramper, he seemed to me like he was just genuinly seeking assurances about his holding.

RA1: SCR has not been a sham. Its been a disaster. There is a difference.

Kimboy: Cash has nothing to do with it. Its all about confidence, which is low at the moment naturally. But a few million for any chinese company with some contacts looks ok to me (not that I am buying more!)

I convinced myself to sell out of SCR on Friday and I hold a good wodge of GGG.

However without doubt the GGG thread is much poorer quality and is full of unintelliegent rampers such as RAI.

Their response to Simon's intelligent questioning of the basis for an investment in GGG was essentially emotional and personal.

The fact that he seems to revel in others misfortune merely confirms my opinions.

IMV it is not Simon's or Strow's credibility that has been damaged here but A.C.

Holed below the waterline I would say.

RA1 - that's a bit aggresive. Simon has not ramped this stock since october 2006.. read back and you'll see the light. Meanwhile I am waiting for Strow to re-appear before he gets a knock on the door at his semi-detached in Slough..

I got out at 7p when the Moly results were bad. However, I do feel for all those still in. This is bad and does not seem to have any easy solutions.

& i stand by what i have said over the last 6months SCR is a SHAM- I have consitently said it and will continue to do so.

& Yu are the biggest promoter of this sham company on ADVFN, and i just hope ppl on this thread can see u for what u really are.

My only motivation to post is for ppl to realise your Devious motivations & clearly people are begining to see it.

RA1 - I beg to disagree (it's in my nature), Simon has never blatantly ramped SCR. He bought into the arguments espoused by Strow... If I remember correctly he sold at a considerable loss. As did we.On the other hand I very interested to hear what Mr. Strow has to say before the fraud squad get hold of him.

A £6m write-off for a company that is capitalised at about the same amount is disastrous, but I don't think now is the time to start blaming Strow and Simon. I shall continue to hold, and hope for better times. Thanks Idioterna for your empathy.

As for your libellous comments, I stand by everything I have said on this thread at various stages of the share's history.

I have put the case for some time that this share is, from my point of view, primarily an option on Zhunuo, as readers of the thread will know. It's proved to be a pricey option so far.

I feel sorry for SCR holders as well, and strongly feel that simon54 has been here as a hatchetman for SCR luring as many investors as possible to lose money on this Fradulent and Inconsistent company that gives junior miners a bad name.

SCR has been nothing more than a sham.

and their news realeases and track record prove it.

nobull - in my capacity as a previous investor in SCR I feel for you. It hurts. I take no joy from this statement, but I take personal affront from Strow seriously and I feel that his agenda was to lure in as many punters as possible prior this announcement.

Considering a loss of about £6 million on the first venture I reckon AC and the board will be more than happy to settle for 75%. It's that or a few more years of hostile AGMs before dissolution.. Tibet costs money and aside from Strow, nobody is giving it away for free.
