24/4/2007 14:55 | 350k trade at 6.75p,then another mm joins the bid. This is a bit like last week when a lot of trades went through as sells yet the price rose.Someone suggested these sells were infact buys by a big player picking up as many shares at the bid as folk would sell.Maybe that 350k is part of the same big player accumulating.Another mm on the bid certainly points in that direction and means this rally may be far from done yet. | figure6
24/4/2007 14:05 | Mostly sales today, however another MM has joined the bid @ 6.5? | woodburnd
24/4/2007 08:37 | I take it the change of office is a non-event and not done for any share price moving reason.Anyway SCR is rumoured to be going into a joint venture and we have an accumulator.....I wonder if they are linked! The actual RNS on any JV should give us a spike upwards.I am surprised SCR hasnt made any comment on the press JV speculation. No denial .....so maybe true. | figure6

23/4/2007 21:39 | It seems it's the PGM junior mining co's in vogue at the moment, their share price racing northwards in the last couple of months especially( RDG, JLP, RMLA etc); SCR will be back in favour in the not too distant future. Thanks tp, always interesting. | davethechef
23/4/2007 19:58 | Here is a better version: | tippingpoint

23/4/2007 16:02 | any news coming up here? | backe9
23/4/2007 15:44 | Yup, agreed. The thing is anyway that whilst it's nice to get some communication in terms of knowing that AC has got over the nasty bug he picked up in China, otherwise one can use one's imagination for the rest.... "We're pressing ahead as fast as we can... we're excited about the new team... we're in positive discussions with the Xi'ang Institute..." and so on. I think email is useful, if only to remind a management that PIs are interested in as much detail as possible, but it won't reveal anything substantial that isn't already public. The danger is, anyway, that people may try to read 'hints' into an email where none were intended. I think we should just wait for some hard news (or maybe just for some more rumours appearing in the press! ;-)). | simon54

23/4/2007 15:14 | Limited circulation of emails is one thing. But posting private emails in a public arena is hardly on, being something of a breach of trust/confidence. If SCR is to do a press release, it will receive a certain amount of attention. An email reply to an enquiry though is likely to be quite quickly done and it would not be fair on Mr Clayton to find his hasty words on public display unless the enquiry specificly warned him. If we make a habit of this then companies will be a lot more wary responding to PI enquiries. | rapier686
23/4/2007 15:05 | strow, just post them here,it would be easier.....6.5p bid now, as I expected. Not many sellers at this level, so maybe a pause for breath then normal northwards progress will resume. | figure6

23/4/2007 10:58 | mms marked offer down but as its quickly back to 7.25p this is positive. It looks like someone managed to get over 6.5p for their shares so maybe the official bid will be the next to move (to 6.5p then quickly more if buying continues as I get the feel that mms still are a bit short of shares). | figure6
23/4/2007 08:35 | thanks for the email strow. appreciated. | woodpecker25

22/4/2007 09:57 | Intriguing. Maybe a new project. Maybe a solution to the heavy funding necessary to eventually start production at Zhunuo. ( a small "cut" of Zhunuo profits- for a small % interest, is this possible with the Tibet JV already present ?) Who knows, but i'd always fancied substantial positive news to appear this April so next week seems favourite. Certainly, someone was keen on purchasing 35grand's worth on Friday. Not huge maybe, but substantial for SCR. strow, your much appreciated emails( suggesting we may have positive news soon) may come to fruition. Cheers. | davethechef |
