So what's happening with the $14m tax bill? Is this a back for tax to catch some extra funds but the RMG? Or is it a genuine debt the company has to to pay? As at end August the Company has appx £8m in the bank .Bit like a soap opera!

HUR the latest steelwatch thread to see the underlying instrument haemorrhage over 95% of its value.

The list just gets longer as longer as the most vile handle, potentially supported by management teams and funding agreements, leads untold hundreds of ADVFN innocents to their fiscal doom.

Sound Energy (SOU) announced a notification from the Moroccan tax authorities, who have assessed additional corporate and value-added tax liabilities totalling approximately $14 million. Obviously Sound dispute it publicly, but it’s good news in a way for the board, since it would enable them to put the Morocco subsidiary company down, while blaming “corrupt North African bureaucracy.”

Sharewise1: the comment regarding the drilling campaign is relevant, because it serves as a benchmark of probability (as I positioned).Lets see what comes of the tax situation. I think you are going to be bitterly dissapointed as were the ones that trod before you.GL.

Of course it will happen. This tax thing is a mistake and the share price has not collapsed so the market is confident the issue will be resolved. Also this tax sideshow will not prevent the BOD from carrying on with business as usual so the plan to first gas is unaffected.The comment regarding the drilling campaign is irrelevant as we have gas in the ground already and will soon have the means of selling it and delivering some long awaited income. The share price will of course then recover and we will be sitting pretty ready for phase 2 and the pipeline.

If the $14,000,000 tax demand is legitimate and there is no reason why it shouldn't be; and if Sound Energy is going to repay the €28,800,000 loan which is due in June next year; and if Sound Energy wants to really produce gas via mini-LNG and if Sound Energy wants to instigate an exploration plan for Tendrara; then Sound Energy needs to raise an awful, awful amount of money. No amount of gas in the ground is going to save the company. Thanks James Parsons. Be careful.

PdUk- damned if I do and damned if I dont! I said I would no longer comment on evidence being gathered and thus not compromise it or the sources- you call it fake, I have 3 informants🕵️‍♂;️prepared to sign affidavits and appear as witnesses if it comes to that👨‍⚖️€110;‍♂️

HOWEVER- this is a very diffeent issue and throws even the immediate future into doubt- we have to pay for any appeal with associated legal costs and it will also halt any progression on other negotiations. This is incredibly serious if you add the 14 million to the Bond and to the projected costs to get to micro LNg then we need significant funds and it is difficult to see where they will come from. Despite KTF's assertions I take no pleasure in this, either personally or on behalf of SAG members, but it could only be a few who can still see any positives in this RNS.

last word on it and back to silence whilst collating evidence which for sure is not fake.

He is complicit in AIM deceit. Not just in SOU but multiple instruments, though some related to SOU through shared management and stakes.
