What about the hashtag, harryhugget? As an original champion of it, surely you must now concede it's over...

Manics, agree that share price will come under pressure. Disagree nothing has changed. T8 wasn't the success that was expected. Had it been no need for months of seismic. Another change emphasis now on seismic not wells.

Just ploughed through LSE. Seems that Brian mentioned April to someone.

Ref. suggestions of delay in drilling, some may not have read the 4/10 RNS fully:

"The previously announced appraisal well evaluation will remain under review pending completion of the exploration drilling programme.

The exploration drilling programme leads will be reviewed again and high-graded towards the end of the year following receipt of the gradiometry, 2D seismic surveys, the 2D seismic reprocessing and the geological studies"

JP, did you hear from someone that drilling would be delayed?

If parsons did say that there was going to be a delay in drilling then that is price sensitive info and as such should not have been announced at a daft party. The authorities should get involved here if that is the case as info like that has to be released via an RNS.

The key takeaway from the Sound event is:

- The seismic program has been delayed with 2 month
- Drilling won't start until April, while the market expected year-end/Jan start.

This is obviously negative news as there will be limited newsflow over the next 6 months.
Sound did not mention anything about these delays in the RNS "Eastern Morocco: Exploration Drilling Programme" 4th Oct, which is very odd, instead they choose drip feed the investors with the bad news. If the delay had been included in the 4th Oct RNS, the stock would immediately have sold off.

James selling shares 21 Sep looks even worse with news about the delay.

I expect the stock to trade down below 50p over the coming days, difficult to see where it will find support short term.

Oh, and in case that wasn’t enough for you, the amount of gas WAS not enough to be commercial.

So not PLENTY enough.

Im not sure if you are being disingenuous, but if you are just a bit dim Jacknife, I’ll confirm for you that the gas WAS accompanied by an influx of water.

TW is pretty clueless. Now that folk have to pay to read the share price articles, he is beginning to realise just how much his articles are valued. Very few are willing to pay a few pennies to read them. He targets Companies such as SOU purely because they have a big retail following. No other reason. He is prostituting what little is left of his integrity for a few shekels. Never mind, share price will be gone before xmas.
