04/10/2017 15:23 | He represents the ballast and has his office booked in the hold. Not allowed on deck until the boat has returned. What did I say would happen when we hit 55p and by the 05/10/2017. Good guess that, wasn't it 😜 | 1westham

04/10/2017 09:55 | Malcy, FWIW: Sound Energy Sound has announced a three well exploration programme in Eastern Morocco which has ‘the potential to significantly increase the value of their core acreage’. The three wells which will be drilled back to back will target high impact locations with significant exploration potential. The aim of the programme is to unlock the company’s internally estimated unrisked gross GOIP volumes in Eastern Morocco of 17 TCF mid case (31 TCF high case, 9 TCF low case) already announced. The wells which will cost around $10m each will target multiple target types across structural and stratigraphic traps and Triassic and Paleozoic reservoirs in thy’A’ structure, North-East Lakbir and beneath the TE-5 Horst. Following its recent geophysical programme of aerial Gradiometry , 2D seismic surveys and reprocessing, along with geological studies, Sound is kicking on with its exploration programme ‘with a view to rapidly and materially increasing its discovered volumes in Eastern Morocco and enabling right-sizing of the planned facilities’. There is no doubt that Sound and it’s partners have decided to move ahead with the plan to establish Eastern Morocco as a ‘prolific but low cost province, on the doorstep of large and growing energy markets ‘. With a major presentation to investors tomorrow Sound is remaining very much on the front foot. | manics

04/10/2017 08:33 | Today's update from Sound was not what the shareholders wanted to hear. The headlines tells you that they have a new drilling program, but when you read the details there are several reasons for concern. 1. Sound cannot give a date for when the drilling program will begin, maybe they should have waited with the announcement until that was decided. 2. Sound puts in some big resource targets number for the three wells, but later in the release, they are writing that “The exploration drilling programme leads will be reviewed again and high-graded towards the end of the year following receipt of the gradiometry, 2D seismic surveys, the 2D seismic reprocessing and the geological studies.” Which opens up the question, how did they come up with these resources number if they still need to apply plenty of new data before drilling the targets? 3. Sound writes that the well will cost $10m but there is no comment how Sound will finance its share or if an equity placing is needed. The biggest issue with the update today is the update on the reserves certification. Sound has said that they have 1.03 TCF GOIP (gross) for a while now. But in the updated today they are writing that: “ A reserves certification is currently underway on the TE-5 Horst core volumes of 0.63Tcf GOIP.” If they got 1.03 TCF in the internal estimate why are they not auditing 1.03 TCF instead of the 0.63 TCF. This can only mean that Sound doesn't think that the auditors will approve 0.4 TCF of Sound internal estimate. | lowflow
04/10/2017 08:29 | More jam tomorrow. Or should that be more sand tomorrow. Smoke and mirrors can only work for so long. Maybe parsons needs drilling with the amount of gassing he does. | jacksonpollack
04/10/2017 07:50 | More bull from Parsons, long may he roll though, just trade on the verbal he comes out with. | squiresquire
04/10/2017 07:45 | So we all know now the subject matter we will be shown on tomorrow's boat trip. | telbap

02/10/2017 14:24 | Yes I have my ticket but I'm not really expecting any RNS before the event. After all, this event was planned many months ago and it's hardly likely that an RNS should by coincidence occur just before.I'm expecting some high quality PR and managing expectations.
