05/7/2017 16:36 | Well I'm out also , should have sold last week , was tempted but greed got the better of me yet again , I will never learn , been here for 8 years | waynz
05/7/2017 16:26 | I'm also out, just not happy with the clever RNS's of late, doesn't cut it. It's been a good run, had 14 trades over the year or so, and just lost on 3. Moved a bit into EME, was it you telbap that recommended them ? | mikemichael2
05/7/2017 16:19 | Credibility problem here.... & shorters having a ball I suspect. Apart from Badile , we've had confirmation of Sidi & now concentrating on Tendara. Nothing much has changed except the psychology in the market IMO. | napoleon 14th
05/7/2017 15:51 | Ngms, Spot on. For the first time since Orbell bought the Consul assets, I have completely sold out this morning. I have better prospects to reinvest in. I'm sure I will see an excellent opportunity to reinvest in SOU later in the year once we have some clarity on Tendrara and to a smaller degree Sidi Mokhtar. JP will be holding another conference call to try to excite investors, but I am all talked out for now. Buffy | buffythebuffoon

05/7/2017 13:25 | Sound Energy It's never a dull moment at SOU as today they report excellent news from Sidi Moktar where the Koba-1 well has come in as a 'producible gas accumulation' that can move rapidly to production. The local market is very strong with additional demand from a large phosphate plant who crave gas to significantly add value to their product which otherwise would be exported untreated. The company also believes that there is potential for the pre-salt so will reprocess existing 2D seismic and acquire new to complete the picture. With poor quality cement bonding at Koba-1 it has been decided that there is little point in drilling Kmar-1 so the rig will now be demobilised and returns to Tendrara. This is good news for Sound and proves that it is now a meaningful player in Eastern Morocco with a growing asset base. | tsmith2
05/7/2017 13:10 | I've materially sold down my holdings on todays news. I cannot see anything material for the share price until the drill bit produces further news in Eastern Morocco. Thats likely to be around November at best for results. Todays news was really failure dressed up as success, they wanted to test the Lower Liassic and couldn't due to the casing and instead have flared from the Argovian which Brian suggested was probably depleted. Therefore I don't see the current wells having any real value to SOU. Therfore it's my opinion that the shares will trade materially lower over the Summer into the Autumn when they may present another buying opportunity. | ngms27

05/7/2017 11:14 | When this was trading at 102p, I said it will come tumbling down...whatever suckers can never tell whats staring in their faces | daybreakers
05/7/2017 11:03 | Good job the RNS was positive - otherwise we would be in the 40's! Daybreakers - My research tells me that eastern Morocco could be a very lucrative gas producing area - if SOU can prove up the area with both seismic and the drill bit ( and the gas flows well ) then there is no doubt the economics will play out as there is demand for gas at good prices, there are tax incentives to explorers and there is already some supporting infrastructure. Is the shareprice worth 10 p or £10 - depends on what happens going forward, we currently have 0.5 TCF and the goal is 30TCF. If each TCF is worth £1 to the SOU share price, then even if only 2 TCF is proven, that is nearly a 4 bagger from here. The goal is to sell the asset at some point in the next 18-24 months. The downside is that they can't flow the gas (clearly the gas exists) and we need more funds or they go broke in trying to prove it up. Place your bets and GLA, I am still a buyer on the dips. However, if news suggests that the gas cannot be economically extracted from Tendrara (which seems unlikely given the TE6 and 7 data)then I will be out. | kevjames
05/7/2017 09:33 | Sad act shorters start a flocking all sucking on the corpse... Love a spike up out of the blue and sink the lot of them..... Stopped out now F off | 1westham
05/7/2017 09:19 | Omg. Believing is NOT the right way. Looking at the facts IS. And fact is it's overvalued. Period. Many got suckered in sub penny old money n spiked to 6p. Then came tumbling down. Now it's happened again. Suckers. Smell the coffee. You're being played. | daybreakers
05/7/2017 09:13 | This is now a traders share - if you believe the big picture you need to keep the faith or buy more on the dips. Credit to Chelwood for not coming back to gloat - the 50s marching band certainly did get their day in the sun. I am totally baffled by the last few days of trading and the mark down on Monday was extreme - I guess it supports my view that the AIM is the Wild West and you need to be careful when playing in this casino. Good luck to all investors. | kevjames
05/7/2017 09:01 | The Company has now temporarily suspended the well in preparation for a rigless extended well test - after which the Company hopes to move rapidly to production. | steelwatch |
