Staff up from 85 to 97. 16% revenue growth is not outstanding - I want more now and I want 20% 😊
My holding is too large to sell - seduced by pretty women in posh frocks - so it's in the back of the sock drawer.

The nature of forbidden words has changed. When I was young, there were certain words you couldn't say in front of a girl. Now you can say them, but you can't say "girl”. Tom Lehrer |

The RNS says they expect to make profit FY25 i.e guidance is in line with expectations and profit growth going forward
"Sosandar believes that, prior to publication of this announcement, market expectations for the year ending 31 March 2025 are currently revenue of £54.6 million and PBT of £1.0 million." |
My view too mort. Their third party sales should have supported revenue without promotional activity. Surprised they didn't mention the weather and the backdrop of a reduction in consumer spending as a reason/excuse. apad |
Net revenue of £8.2m (Q1 FY24: £11.4m) reflecting prioritisation of increasing gross margins to improve profitability.
Business looks mature to me.. and yet it can't figure out a way to make a profit. It's either sales or margin. A bit like ASOS. |
Thanks, Laughton |

Is Sosandar full year result out tomorrow ? |
Ok, my latest searches show stores in Chelmsford, Marlow, Harrogate & Milton Keynes. All TBC. |
But not now.Very weak trading across clothing retail over May, Jun, and it looks like Jul too. Weather driven.Coupled with increased costs from store ramp up, next set of results are going to be weak, top line and bottom line. |
one day this year this share will wake up and rise to 15p this year then |
Regarding new stores it seems we can confirm that there is one planned in Marlow, a wealthy town (average house price was £931k last year) on the Thames in Buckinghamshire. It is supposedly the 6th most affluent town in the UK with a number of others in the Top 10 not far away.
They are looking for a Store Manager and a part-time Style Advisor. |

As per #4340 there appears to be a store opening in Chelmsford in August and a possible concession in Selby's in Holloway Road, London. Otherwise it's pretty quiet although they did report stores were progressing well in April's update. Mid-July's TU should contain more info but Spring has been missed. |
Sosandar planned to open its first physical Store in spring 2024. Spring 2024 ends on 20th of June, Has anyone read any update on this please ? |
New Sosandar retail role: Sales Assistant London, England
We are Sosandar. We’re one of the UK’s fastest growing online fashion brands for chic and stylish women; worn by celebrities and influencers galore. We have an amazing opportunity for someone equally as amazing to join us as a Sales Assistant.
You’ll be based at our new concession at Selbys Department Store in Holloway, London! |
web data is minus 23 percent in may, worst in over a year, next numbers will be even worse, they didnt have the pricing power they thought they would have, and they messed up their own business changing tact |
Thank you, watcher00 |
I wouldn’t say negative azaman. Sosandar withdrew from John Lewis to focus on their bigger retailers Next and M&S amongst others the impact on sales was stated to be immaterial. They are clearly keeping a close eye on sales and adapting accordingly where necessary. |
Hi watche00
"Maybe another John Lweis situation" What do you mean by this ? Does this carry a negative image as far as SOSANDAR goes. |
Looking forward to updates on stores opening this year as will only enhance brand awareness. I just noticed however they no longer appear on The Bay Canada website? Not sure if anyone else has noticed. Maybe another John Lewis situation.. |
Well researched 😊 I've a large holding now well underwater. I have confidence in their brand but my patience is stretched on the profitability. I like the key stores idea. Hey Ho. apad |
