07/12/2017 14:24 | weird flat chart | edjge2
07/12/2017 10:15 | well cut above so looks better. Roll over not happening in states with all panic capital investment. States tipped a few cybersecurity firms to blow as massive gov investment there. States biz mainly here it seems. | edjge2
06/12/2017 17:26 | The whole market is rolling over imho - be prepared | panic investor
06/12/2017 17:24 | Catch a falling knife! | gswredland
06/12/2017 12:04 | impatient I added some this am. Small investment only. Think this will fly given time. Moved up a little. | edjge2
06/12/2017 10:03 | down 20%, now wonder where the bounce will be. Cybersecurity a growth area. Big boys dropped holdings to 11% from 22. Might explain drop | edjge2
06/12/2017 09:51 | If this continues, next resistance is 500p. But for long termers, these are only normal market blips. | fuji99
02/12/2017 21:22 | Any thoughts on today's news to avoid cyber security software of Russion origin? Should be good for Sophos I would have thought. | bocase
01/12/2017 20:14 | on HL they both show as buys?! | windsor430
01/12/2017 19:42 | hawaly. You should be looking at cash gen not profit here. Profit metrics pointless and you would conclude this is stupidly overvalued. On cash metrics, not so much | dan_the_epic
01/12/2017 19:34 | 16:37:38 551.1927 350,000 O 548.0000 552.5000 Buy 2,081,408 1,866,808 16:35:21 548.5000 260,176 UT 548.0000 548.5000 Buy 1,731,408 .if these are the trades you're referring to....16/35/21 is a UT trade.....or uncrossing trade to settle/square the books.....so not a viable trade at all. 16/37/38....is more than likely a late reported trade....I cant tell whether its a buy or sell..you need to see the print, | douglas fir
01/12/2017 18:37 | The news being the two massive buys recorded after close? Ie C.£2m + £1.5m... I can’t find what else you could be referring to. The breaking Brexit implications & Bitcoin news don’t seem relate! | windsor430
01/12/2017 17:05 | Yes I'm out, momentum is a great trade until that momentum dissipates. There have been a few other examples in the last few days where charts have stopped doing what they've been doing for the past few months. I'd bought the strong bounce off the 50ma a couple of weeks ago but once it had crossed back down through it, I exited the trade. Given the news in the last few mins on this Friday it will be interesting to see if the dip is bought next week. GLA. | hawaly
01/12/2017 16:23 | Ha - safe to say you're out then. Loss-making is ok (with me) if growth is sustained... but if, as you, say it's just a momentum stock, this drop signals the end of that. | windsor430
01/12/2017 15:23 | How about: PER (F) = 80.2 Loss making Negative working capital $244m Net Debt An absolute screaming momentum stock since last April..... Other than that (imho) it's a definite buy for Grannies and Orphans. | hawaly
01/12/2017 14:19 | ...and down to half way between the 50 & 200 SMA's. 3 big volume days, each ending in red. Everything I see looks like it's been massively over-sold & therefore a buying opp, or am I missing something? | windsor430
30/11/2017 19:33 | Yeah bit OTT there. Sophos has what, 6 or 7 per cent mkt share in Europe in both segments at a guess. Lots of running room for sure | dan_the_epic
30/11/2017 15:38 | DaveMAc3 - Mystic Meg told me ... | fuji99
30/11/2017 15:36 | fuji, you don't know what the share price will be next year | davemac3
30/11/2017 15:24 | And Sophos is the only company in the world to provide that protection. Er, not. | orange1
30/11/2017 13:59 | karateboy - the more it drops, the more I buy. I know that next year at this time, I will be looking at a share price of £10. SOPH will be profitable before expectations. This is the catch and this will be the positive "shock news" to be received the market. This business of cyber protection has no limit and the demand for protection all over the world is immense. | fuji99
30/11/2017 13:56 | Karateboy - price is at £5.60 due to tech sell-off in NY last night and MM's will keep it down there until they get a sense of where tech stocks are trading in NY later. Gotta remember that SOPH has a market cap of nearly 3 billion with no profits as yet (i know they will come next year) so can be perceived by some as fully valued. I am long btw so no deramp here. | stuart37
30/11/2017 13:43 | So, 51m shares are sold/bought at 616p. Why share price is at 560p now? Is it because people worry that the seller may sell its remaining shares in 90 days. This is a good quality company.lets wait and see. | karateboy
30/11/2017 09:42 | I would add that this situation is the best opportunity to enter for newcomers and add for already fully invested. Maybe it will never come back to what we have today in particular. | fuji99 |
