Happy but I don't think we've got a decisive price direction yet. Keep watching the volume. Have a great weekend all.

We are in a pinch point, it will react strongly one way or the other.

There may have been a lot of price action but it was all MM generated to try and create volume. In my view, it's impossible to accurately time SOLG price moves and so you need to just buy and hold.

Probably, but watching the price action over last few days, something may be building I reckon. Plus we are in narrowing pennant.. should break upwards. But any blue close welcome :)

As a reminder: Amerisur from January 2020:

GeoPark Limited, a leading independent Latin American oil and gas explorer, operator and consolidator with operations and growth platforms in Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Ecuador, today announced that it has closed the previously announced acquisition of Amerisur Resources Plc. (“Amerisur”) (LON: AMER).

GeoPark acquired the entire issued share capital of Amerisur for a total cash consideration of approximately $314 million (approximately £242 million at an offer price of 19.21 pence per share).

Also interesting from a strategic mining perspecgtive in ecuador... SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L $CGP #cascabel #ecuador

"...Her experience gained as BP's representative on the Board of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative from 2010 to 2015 was a key factor in her appointment."

From Sept 2019 "...The Ecuadorian government officially announced last week its intention to become an EITI implementing country. “In deciding to adhere to the EITI, the Government of Ecuador seeks to guarantee transparency and efficiency in the management of the country's natural resources,” said Minister of Energy and Non-Renewable Natural Resources (MERNNR), Carlos Pérez."

Interesting Director appointment SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L $CGP #cascabel #ecuador

I thought this was pointed ".....Elodie's ....appointment is the outcome of a process closely coordinated with key governance advocates among our institutional shareholders."

In addition to Cornerstone, NCM and BHP who are these institutions (and how much global asset is managed by each)? From yesterday's article, ""...SolGold also counts some of the largest institutional investors like Franklin Templeton (AUM$622B), Blackrock (AUM $743Tr), Ninety One (AUM £103.4bn), JP Morgan Asset Management ($2.239 trillion) and Pictet & Cie (AUM £486B) among its shareholders."

In terms of the call for a EGM some of these will need to be brought over to support it....

I agree.

Can see it as a great series to rival Dallas and others : intrigue, betrayal, high stakes, nail biting incidents etc Who could we cast as NM?]

In the spirit of fly on the wall documentaries.........

Recent SOLG Board meeting:
- CGP helped us find Alpala and are likely to go bust once we deliver the DFS. We could pick up their 15% ENSA share for a song next year.
- That would be unfair, we should rescue them and give them 15% of the Company. That way they can retain their 15% interest in ENSA and benefit from all our other sites.
- I thought you hated them?
- I do, but they have been a good partner and deserve to be treated fairly.

Recent CGP Board meeting:
- You know how 98% of our company worth is tied to SOLG? They've only gone and offered to buy us.
- They're offering more than we can possibly be worth.
- Bloody hell, I though NM hated us?
- Show's how incompetent their director's are - let's get rid of them and install ourselves.
- How do we do that?
- Claim they're corrupt, incompetent and have failed their shareholders.
- Nobody will fall for that.
- They don't need to, BHP and Newcrest want to own them and while they have competent Director's they'd need to pay a fortune. If we're there as the director's, they can buy SOLG for a song. They'll support putting us in.
- Won't that put us out of a job when we sell to them?
- Yeah, but we can pay ourselves huge amounts from both CGP and SOLG as compensation for losing our jobs and with the share awards we get on taking up our positions, we'll make a fortune on the acquisition.

October CGP Board meeting:
- Why did we not check that BHP and Newcrest would fail to support us before?
- We should really recommend accepting the SOLG offer but I'm too embarassed, let's continue to reject.
- We will probably end up worthless if we do that
- Lets resign and give ourselves huge payouts. The new director's can take the blame.

October SOLG Board meeting:
- Those idiots at CGP are still not accepting our offer.
- We tried, we'll just need to pick up their ENSA share next year for 3.5m, can you put it in the plan?

Well up today as i said yesterday 21.2p was just too cheap .

The good news is that tomorrow we will be up by more than today imho .

Those in the know will understand that the way things are moving solgold may just do a deal with BHP and stuff Cornestone as their 15% will be taken out for 3.5 million .

Cornerstone may get nothing if NM decides to invest monies recieved by BHP on drilling up the other 70 odd sites .

So Solgold will have a billion or so dollars after the sale of Alpala to BHP .
