Well you make your own decisions.
22p bottom-don't know.
Worth topping up (been saying this for long, long time)-don't know.
Only think I do know I am disappointed that we are this low.

With the very deep hole that fiat currencies have dug for themselves, I can only see gold rising for some time to come. As that happens gold in the ground becomes increasingly attractive, whether it be proven/confirmed resource or inferred. The tide for gold has turned in Solg's favour, and copper after a bit of a lag has historically followed gold. One would expect this to make Solg an attractive proposition to lenders to fund extraction, especially with such a short payback period. Interest rates turning negative in parts of the world and Mr Trump wanting the Fed to reduce rates, makes a bit of a problem for those trying to find a return on deposits. Despite what is being done to the share price, it seems to me that Nick Mather holds quite a good hand in this poker game.

Looking at the charts, suggest its going to test 22p again, this week, if no support and all the buyers have gone, could well test 19p level after that, i would suggest get your tin hats on ready for another terribe week, or sell up, and buy back at a cheaper price, if you are worried about a spike(very unlikely) just sell half, at least you can increase your holding, bringing your average down, alot better than topping up, when the price is in freefall.good luck.

BMNSA. Brilliant strategy. Sell at the bottom and buy at the top.

More buys than sells yesterday and the share price was still marked down. What gives?

Something going on behind the scenes that we are not aware of? Underhanded tricks? One thing for sure, the markets are definitely stacked against the PI.

We can only hope that whatever is going on behind closed doors will benefit us in due course?

When you say under £500m , it’s £415m according to ADVFN.

Does seem ludicrously cheap by all metrics. Will have a dabble on Tuesday .

I confess that I would like to see the drilling permits because then the drilling would quickly make this absolutely irresistible to several parties and we LTHs could relax. I am fairly relaxed now but the additional drilling will quickly confirm our assessment of the total worth of our investment.

In regard to his appointment, Mr Hofmaier remarked:

"SolGold has developed a blueprint for the rapid and efficient discovery and appraisal of Ecuadorean copper gold porphyry projects. This position reflects the natural transition of the Company to become a major gold and copper miner. The outstanding high-grade core and configuration and scale of the orebody, Ecuador's commitment to the extractive industry, and outstanding logistic advantages make Cascabel the ideal starter operation for SolGold. I look forward to being at the centre of driving the finance function, and funding Cascabel into production via an independent, flexible and multi-source funding solution. Likely low cost of capital for years to come together with an excellent copper and gold market outlook will provide a welcome tailwind in SolGold's efforts to realise value from this outstanding ore-body. Personally I am excited to be working with a globally recognised exploration and truly driven management team."

Unless there are loads of Tier 1's out there with low start up costs in a mining friendly country, and no debts, then this is going to be far from worthless.

A complete and utter lack of understanding what MMs do. Best to say nothing sometimes.

My take is that the MM's haven't liked the idea of SOLG trying to go for production and would prefer a takeover. By gradually drifting the price down, it makes such an offer more likely. The fact that no support has been found as the price drops has allowed them to do this.

Personally, I don't think we're going to get any positive price movement until an announcement is made on the funding. Depending on the nature of that announcement, it could also prompt a takeover offer (or two). The big question is whether they can come up with a sensible funding option? If not, the shares could become worthless very quickly.

Thank you ODR, it is hurting, one thought the court case panic had seen the last of this gamesmanship, but evidently not. I suppose a day where some have accumulated from those who have given up in exasperation, quite understandable.

Yes they are burning money, but I take the view that there are no debts and the buried assets are beyond huge, and the realisation of those assets are attainable for a very reasonable cost given the scale of these things, eventually something will happen.
