I see a quiet week next week, and then a day after they join the main market, I expect to see a steady roll out of good news. ie drill/assay results, perhaps an early report on the first few metres of Aguinaga? Even may be an interim report on the Maiden Resource Statement? There are plenty of good reasons for Institutions to buy Solg, no harm in turning the spotlight on to illuminate them a little better.

Those options though feel like the onset of greed, given that NM considers Cascabel has enough resource to make this 10 bag. I'm all for reward for effort, but they are all getting paid, I'm happy that people should get share options, but tens of millions of them! I think we already have more than enough shares in flotation without yet more dilution.

People are holding on to their shares.
Just hold on and don't forget its been a steady rise.
There's been no pumping and dumping.

The market can be irrational for a while but never stupid.

Chill ... If it was that easy we'd all be overnight millionaires

Yes it's a case of grit your teeth, and keep waiting mam fach. The price of copper continues to creep up, the resource statement continues to creep towards it's completion, it would be great to get out of first gear and move swiftly to overdrive, but I feel that NM is doing his best, which is more than can be said for many chiefs of AIM companies!

It would be amusing to see copper spike up just as that maiden resource statement comes out :¬) All those expected lecky cars and the infrastructure to charge them are going to need a bit of copper.

Exactly you put it so much more eloquently than I.
But we both agree we're on to a winner.
Look @ all the hype on UKOG BB.
Most posters on this board been holders of SOLG for years.
Through thick and thin.

NM is an old hand, he has a large share holding and knows that Cascabel is huge and valuable, he won't be giving it away like some hireling brought in as an 'ex' from Mc Kinsey's, who just wants a quick unearned bonus and then move on to the next quick screw.

It's going to take a while, we have the TSX listing, soon a main market listing, then finish the Alpala maiden resource statement. Begin drilling other parts of Cascabel that look promising, especially Aguinaga as it might be a near surface resource that could be swiftly exploited at lower cost, thus financing the remainder of Cascabel.

BHP seemed to have got miffed over not being able to bully NM out of Solg on the cheap and have recently allocated $82 million to exploring other prospects in the area. It takes a lot of valuable time to prove up a prospect, every day brings Cascabel closer to exploitation, closer to the decision makers in big miners putting their pensions on the line by committing large sums to extraction. With any luck we will get a spike in the price of copper, and some of those decision makers will become in fear of losing pensions because they failed to act when prices were lower. It's all good clean fun :¬)

NM knows exactly what he plans to do.
Unfortunately we don't.
My guess would be that he might prefer to sell off some assets
rather than go into joint venture. But that's just my opinion FWIW.
Very few companies actually get promoted from AIM.
But the majority of them become successful companies.

I imagine that all the major holders "would like to realise the best value", including NM as they now have plenty of other properties to explore, and a large slug of money from selling Cascabel would help that along more swiftly. Fortunately though they have option B which is to mine it with Newcrest and/or others, since Cascabel is so big and well situated relative to infrastructure and water supply. At the moment all the major holders seem to be on the same hymn sheet, prepared to mine with Newcrest, or presumably willing to sell for the right price? In the meantime as we wait, copper seems to be creeping up quite nicely, and Cascabel holds a lot of copper.

lefrene - your post 10725 sums up Cornerstone's position neatly IMHO. My own hunch is that it feels that it would like to realise the best value it can from Cascabel and move on to explore its other properties.

Beginning to wonder if SOLG having trouble getting assays done. Drilling has accelerated due to more rigs and deviations from existing holes, but I think no new asaay results since hole 23R at end of June. I have a sneaky feeling I read that the exploration of others in Ecuador would put pressure on resources such as assaying, which I assume is done by an external contractor. However, can't remember where I read it.

lurker5, they have recently pumped in a lot of money at 41p, presumably to greatly speed up the exploration and confirmation of the size and richness of the asset. There seem to be old hands at this particular feast, so I guess they all know the rules of the game. If Cornerstone and Guyana? are locked together perhaps they have both arrived at a mutual figure they want for their interests? Eventually somebody will show their hand, in the meantime one hopes that ever better news will emerge from the jungle.

lefrene - Cornerstone is a wheeler dealer. They're not interested in getting hands dirty over a long period of time. They'll be out - at a profit - at the time they reckon the fastest (if not the largest) addition to value as been achieved.

No doubt the fast buck has been made on UKOG pumpers and dumpers been bus
Wish there was little more interest in SOLG considering
we are moving from AIM.
This is a much better bet.

A case of much patience ODR, I guess sellers have got fed up waiting for a maiden resource statement that never comes, although it's delay is due to finding evermore resource. But some peoples length of string is shorter than anothers. Someone might pounce with an offer, or we might just have to wait until Christmas for that maiden report, and for some info from the Aguinaga site.
