02/10/2020 06:38 | 02 Oct 2020 Could SolGold's new discovery be better than Alpala? SHARES in SolGold jumped yesterday after the company reported visual copper sulphide mineralisation in the first drill hole at its Porvenir project in Ecuador. Subscription article, unfortunately | ![]() mirabeau
02/10/2020 05:53 | Mam Fach Institutional buying and private investors selling would be my take as trading was in a tight range the whole day . If i am right then the availabilty of shares is going to tighten . | ![]() mknight
02/10/2020 05:51 | RIO AMARILLO According to JW is close to starting or may have started . NM i am sure is not in a hurry to get the PFS out . Keep drilling maybe prove up 2 major new finds before the PFS release of Alpala . Price will rise in the meantime making the offers that will come much more expensive and Cornerstone deal looks more likely as everyday passes. | ![]() mknight
02/10/2020 00:51 | Very strange reaction to news. Must say I expected bit more volatility. Quite happy nonetheless to see price creep up few pence a day until next news. Keep the faith. Keep making money Solgers. Keep safe. | ![]() mam fach
01/10/2020 22:03 | Should have moved the bloody bird out of the room before they started talking .😃🦜& NM seemed Chirpyand was good to hear him say that Solgold would be to Ecuador what BHP is to Australia . Not for the first time but for the 100th . Techos calling Porvenir a major find already . | ![]() mknight
01/10/2020 21:22 | Very bullish interview with NM with BRR Media today - news flows galore coming our way. | ![]() bogotatrader
01/10/2020 18:16 | Bigger than Alpala . 31.5 p wont be around for long me thinks Thanks pob69 ... Now odds on Porvenir will be Solgolds second tier1 Find . Only 71 left . Must be another 6 or 7 in that little lot Price quite honestly is now cheaper than ever 40p at the end of the week as the institutions pile in . 20 million was not bought and sold by PI,s .. | ![]() mknight
01/10/2020 17:17 | zcaprd7, the directors own 25% of CGP and 65% of shares have been put under instruction of their directors to reject the bid. Those instructions can be changed prior to the 14th but as many shareholders will fail to respond to the bid, the directors are in effective control. | ![]() lowtrawler
01/10/2020 17:06 | Some amazing comments from the minister of mining with his live Canning House presentation right now. The mining industry now has its chance. The national cupboard for finance is bare and is being dismantled and we need private industry investment to replace our over-reliance on the petro-dollar . 01/10/2020 17:01 | Why are people talking about cornerstone accepting the offer? They haven't endorsed it, sure, but the tender offer has been made to their shareholders, not them? | ![]() zcaprd7
01/10/2020 16:51 | Hopefully future feasibility studies will be much faster, since they will have a model to follow from the Alpalla study. Have we finally turned a corner? NM demonstrating that he can organise funding and thus go it alone, will oblige predators to pay a hefty premium, share holders will be less likely to get robbed by the playground bullies. | ![]() lefrene
01/10/2020 16:45 | jlondon, thanks for the link. That's the strongest, most bullish interview I've heard from NM. Sounds confident on the funding too! Not wishing my life away, but can't wait to fast forward a couple of years!! | goodgrief
01/10/2020 16:18 | I don't think most CGP shareholders have realised that they can't do any streaming deals and nor can they put their ENSA stake up as collateral. It pretty much rules out any form of debt finance for their $400m. If they try to raise that amount through equity, they will almost certainly fail. They will need to sell their 7% stake in SOLG as an absolute minimum leaving them with 15% of ENSA and a diluted equity stake. All this when by accepting the offer they get 15% of ENSA and 15% of everything else. | ![]() lowtrawler
01/10/2020 16:14 | Just listened to the Nick Mather new interview of today on BBR Media, Thur, 1 Oct 2020. Hard to hear but I think N. Mather said: Porvenir - F A S T T R A C K Going to start behaving like it is feasibility study? Find not only 1 but a string of 14 targets. Replicate - blue print. Unique, not only 1 but all 14? Ecuador - 700KM. He also mentioned working on $3bn funding? Please listen and check as cannot give any guarantee its correct due to sound issues in the interview. | ![]() jlondon
01/10/2020 16:07 | LT, I share your view, I don't see why NM should be generous and offer an escape route on lesser terms, if CGP don't accept the very good current offer, but then try to get a deal a bit further down the line when the share price is higher. They're choosing their bed, they can lie on it. Perhaps one of those classic 'hero to zero' scenario's. They will likely come under increasing short attack as the 14th approaches? | ![]() lefrene
01/10/2020 15:56 | LF, there will be no 2nd offer. CGP have burnt their bridges. If they don't accept on the 14th, it's impossible to see SOLG or any bidder making an offer for CGP. They're damaged goods and will reliably handover their 15% for next to nothing in 18 months. | ![]() lowtrawler
01/10/2020 15:56 | New Solgold tweet: "There are no other companies in the world, other than SolGold, that hold a provincial tenure base that is 100% owned." 39 mins ago. There is embedded a NEW NICK MATHER INTERVIEW with BBR Media: Nick Mather, CEO of Solgold discusses a number of recent announcements, including the co*s pre-feasibility update and regional exploration." 1 Oct 2020 [Thur] or --- Historic day: Solgold Provenir RNS. | ![]() jlondon
01/10/2020 15:44 | Mirabeau, thanks for the link, it does indeed seem that some CGP holders are re-evaluating the situation. | ![]() lefrene
01/10/2020 14:07 | LT, perhaps a few CGP holders might begin to realise that if they don't take the current offer, then a second offer if it's made at all, would be on less generous terms. The more drill results published and resulting increase in Solg share price, would likely lead to a Solg re-evaluation of the offer. Do we have a mini-brexit of our own! :¬) ie the likely loser, trying to bully their way into grabbing something that's not theirs to grab. (yes I am a leaver) | ![]() lefrene |
