27/9/2020 14:47 | Have people really invested with the expectation of just 55p ? Disappointing to say the least. At 55p we've been robbed. | ![]() gisjob2
27/9/2020 14:18 | alwaysevolving Correct.....that is now as BHP comes out of purdah etc.....greenelf is probably right and we would love it to be so.....but if they have to go it alone with no backing from BHP,Newcrest or whoever then 55p now than waiting is the way to go .....IMHO | ![]() goldrush
27/9/2020 14:05 | That may well be the case Greenelf but the point is what would Investors be happy to take now? I’d also gladly take 55p for my shares if it were offered this side of Christmas. We are non of us immortal. | ![]() alwaysevolving
27/9/2020 13:03 | 55p is giving it away. Fair price 110p share. | ![]() greenelf
27/9/2020 13:02 | Big a accusation. Careful, if you do not want a legal writ.Cannot just make libellous stuff up. | ![]() greenelf
27/9/2020 12:08 | markth126 Agreed....55p will do at this stage !! Come on BHP and DGR !! | ![]() goldrush
27/9/2020 10:01 | I will be thankful for 55p thanks | ![]() markth126
27/9/2020 09:33 | I am beginning to believe Mather is a BHP agent and will sell us cheaply to BHP if BHP recompense him via other holdings he holds via DGR etc. All it would take is BHP to tell Mather “we pay SolGold shareholders 55p and we pay you An extra $100m via DGR for “services provided to BHP” “ | phattrader1
26/9/2020 08:58 | See post #25052 - as you probably worked out, it's the DGR connection. | ![]() sirmoori
26/9/2020 07:33 | Pob as today is the 26th of September early next week would be Monday or Tuesday .. Early next month would be THursday or Friday . So real soon . It would also suggest there is something good to see as if not why bother wasting the money on an RNS at an early stage of drilling . | ![]() mknight
26/9/2020 06:40 | Thanks pob. I would have thought our Australian interests were too small for the likes of BHP?I have been pondering whether SOLG may sell them along with the Solomon Islands to concentrate on Ecuador. | ![]() lowtrawler
25/9/2020 20:06 | Another intruiging Linkedin post this time by the poster of the question above, this time in relation to the recent BHP activity in the Australian Northern Territory Solgold SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L #ecuador It may be nothing at all but article states BHP has reached an enter an earn-in and joint ventureption agreement with Encounter Resources Limited (ASX: ENR) over the Australian explorer’s 4,500 sq km Elliott copper project, He states "Ingo, the main part of the new copper gold exploration area that BHP farmed into is held by Pennant Resources a company related to Solgold, via cross shareholdings with DGR." It is true that the last DGR quarterly report confirms Pennant Resources is a wholly owned subsidiary of Auburn Resources Limited, 47% owned by DGR Global (which of course is another Nick Mather play holding 11% of Solgold) and that Pennant's Tanumbirini is near to Encounter's Elliot projects. Wonder if BHP are keen on the whole region - they may have Nick Mather's number? | ![]() pob69
25/9/2020 19:20 | Cryptic (?) comment by Ingo Hofmaier on his linkedin page in relation to a poster responding to his pictures on the drilling being set up at Porvenir which states "Ingo what we really want to see is the drill core." "Neil, let’s see what I can find for early next..." Wonder if he means "week" or "month"? Solgold SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L #ecuador | ![]() pob69
25/9/2020 17:00 | Hope so! As an aside: Suggested weekend viewing - a really interesting new 1 hour Crux video with Rick Rule very much focused on investor/speculator philisophy/psycholog | ![]() pob69
25/9/2020 16:42 | Pob69 That will legalize all those that have the cadastre. So soon we should know which of the 72 liciences are legal. So yes súper important thanks for the post . | ![]() mknight
25/9/2020 16:13 | Very important and reassuring comments from 5:36 mins (for 5 minutes) and from 23:17 mins (for 3 mins) from Ecuadorian based Salazar Resources concerning the mining sector in country and its future monetary and social importance, of huge relevence to Solgold SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L $CGP #cascabel #ecuador Also cadastre may be open October for licence issuing in next couple of months. | ![]() pob69
25/9/2020 14:08 | LT Understand your rationale....but I don't think that's enough for Newcrest and I don't think they trust NM now...let's see what happens.... | ![]() goldrush
25/9/2020 13:48 | LT, We do not yet know if Porvenir and Rio Amarillo need block caving skills. Assuming they find mineralistion, what if this is near surface at Porvenir? May be possible to extract by open pit mining - potentially far quicker and cheaper to develop. That's why the first drill results could be a turning point for Solg. | pecker1
25/9/2020 11:28 | goldrush. Newcrest have the cave mining skills required for Alpala, Porvenir and Rio Amarillo. They'd walk away with money for their shares and a contract to provide the mining expertise. | ![]() lowtrawler
25/9/2020 11:26 | Thanks Lowtrawler....in my haste I forgot about the 30% and launching formal bid 😀 But why would Newcrest walk away....? Anyway let's see what happens in the coming weeks. | ![]() goldrush
25/9/2020 11:14 | Thanks to Pinot on LSE uncovering Barrick's strategy to discover, buy and operate T1 gold-copper discoveries Fingers crossed they recognise Cascabel as T1 size | ![]() mirabeau
25/9/2020 11:11 | Why buy-out CGP when you can wait for them to not contribute post DFS and get their 15% stake for peanuts? | ![]() lowtrawler
25/9/2020 11:09 | Can't go above 29% without launching a formal bid. No need to launch a formal bid if you own 29% as, with Nick owning 20%, nobody can successfully outbid BHP. The 29% is sufficient for effective control. | ![]() lowtrawler |
