Hi lowtrawler

I am not worried about the money for drilling the next project or even the one after . As Ingo has proved to me he is a major asset and will come up with the money at an acceptable rate .

The problem is we have 72 sites and i dont believe we can drill any of them at this moment in time ..Nm cannot move on to be Mr BHP because he has no permits and without the permits the 72 sites are
Worth Zero not even 5p .NOt surprised he was getting a little aggresive in his meeting with the Mining minister .

We have the Money but we cannot Drill .

Throw in a possible referéndum and the risk reward has become just to high on the risk side which is why we cannot get over 30p .

The time to get the permits is now Before the next election get them legalized so no government can kick us out without having to pay us in the court case that would surely follow .

So time to move on to pastures new until those permits come .

Goodbye all and i wish everyone good luck .

Mk, you're where I got to a couple of weeks ago. I'd piled into SOLG on the potential of a high risk reward ratio. After the price went past 20p and failed to respond to the offtake news, it exceeded my risk appetite. I retained 100k to maintain an interest but I was no longer worried by the risks as I could afford to lose that level of investment. As we know, it turned out to be a poorly timed decision but it was still the right decision for me.In my view, SOLG is currently priced on the basis of Alpala with all the other sites thrown in for about 5p. Until they make a discovery, 5p sounds about right. I don't believe Alpala will be worth more than 50p to current shareholders if we take it all the way to production. With all the uncertainty and risks, I don't think more than 30p for Alpala is justified in the current share price. Hence my ceiling of 34p. All that changes if there is a takeover.I do believe that some of their other projects will result in discoveries. Another Alpala could be another 50p. Even better, we know that the share price will over react to discoveries and so trading the swing should result in much quicker and higher returns. However, investing in SOLG on the basis that they make further discoveries is highly speculative and certainly much higher risk than Alpala.Your questions for NM are good. If you are investing for the next discovery, you need to assess how quickly the discovery is found. From what we can see, they are short of funds to drill the other prospects, hampered by covid and may not have the licenses. If these statements are correct, there will be no imminent discoveries. Your only risk in divesting comes from the possibility of a takeover. At the end of the day, you have the same decision as every investor in every share. Ask, "does my investment in this share fit with my portfolio and risk appetite". Only you can answer that.

This company will get a takeover bid anyday now. Those who sold today will seriously seriously regret it.
BHP will not let SOLG raise the remaining $2.7bn for development, there’s a reason why one clause is still outstanding for this funding today and the bridge loan only for 4 months.
Take a guess?

FSA

99.9% on here think they already have the permits for Río Amarillo i have my doubts . Infact i would go as far to say that we dont have any apart from ALPALA.

How can we drill if we dont have them .?

Someone needs to ask the question as nobody asked the question last time . Nm
Is extremly busy so i understand he does not have time to answer my question but without it i cant invest any more in Solgold as risk reward is not enough for me . Part of the risk is to drill but without a permit its a failure before you start .

DONT FORGET TO ASK ABOUT THE PERMITS FOR RIO AMARILLO . Can Solgold start drilling .. if he says yes .. Ask him about the Money ..

Sorry for shouting but thats the most important question at this time ..

To become a big player he needs one more strike to defend the company . He knows it and i know it .

I emailed him 2 weeks ago and never got a reply ...

Should also ask him how many sites have permits and the names of each site .

The share price can only go up so much more without confirmation of PERMITS ..

Example ... Alpala could be worth 40p or 60p even 80p ....

Alpala and Río Amarillo is 80p or 120 or 160 .

The risk reward becomes greater ..

When i was buying at 10p ..15p gave me 50% profit
20p gave me 100% profit 30p gave me 200% profit .

Today ..27p ...50% profit to get to 40p is not interesting because the risk reward is so much less..

However once we get confirmation that Río Amarillo has the Pemits then my risk reward at buying at 30p becomes a possibility of

30p.. 60p 100% and 60p to 120 200% . The more sites the higher i can afford to pay .

Without permits i am out of the share . With permits i am back in big time buying everyday .

I don't have a problem with DD...he's entitled to his opinions and at least he backs up his views with experience, facts and reasoned argument...

Nor anyone else on here who does the same...

(You're not Colonel Drake on LSE by any chance...?)

Sleep well guys...Stay Alert...whatever that means...

I'm off to book my golf for Wednesday...

I rely on my own extensive experience. Take all the tosh with a pinch of salt. DD included, has his own limited angle on things. He is not the finished article he puffs himself up to be. The ijits simply help me gauge the crowd temperature.

You may not have noticed that I don't pull anyone up for ramping...

I'm only pulling you up for consistently posting rubbish, making yourself look stupid...not letting us know your investment strategy ("I use professionals" doesn't count, unless you've given them carte blanche to do whatever they want, in which case you're deluded)...you admit to being down this year having been up 17% last year...

I'm up 37% on my £400k ISA since January 1; my wife is up 27%...

While you've been busy posting rubbish on here, some of us have been working our butts off protecting our portfolios and making money...

NSR effect on NPV. The PEA gives the necessary info. A 1% revenue reduction costs a 2.5% reduction in Alpala's 8% NPV. ie for the sake of £100m now (and for every extra $100m) shareholders will have lost 2.5% of whatever share price will be put on Alpala once in production. (If as some suggest 10% of the build cost (approx $270m) it would cost a 12% reduction in NPV (because profit margin falls more quickly with lower revenues)

Mk, I think they have a weird idea about what ramping means. Anyone trawling through your posts will realise that you are genuinely investing heavily in SOLG. You have a strong conviction that the shares are under valued. You may get overly excited from time to time about the short term prospects but, as I have said before, accurately predicting short term movements for SOLG is pretty impossible.I do think we need to pickup where people are ramping. It's very easy to sit bye while this goes on because it appeals to our own point of view. I have noticed a lot of ramping over the past couple of weeks but kept silent. Partly because of the personal attacks that then ensue. In the case of DD, you really should read what they have to say. It's not always comfortable but it is an alternative view based on years of experience. The fact that you have done well over the past 2 month's doesn't mean it will continue and understanding where DD is coming from may provide you more insight to your exit points.

Do wonder why you waste your time giving your opinions.
No way you would invest in Ecuador? Solg is exploring in Ecuador.
Most of us holding and happy to see the progress made.
Time will tell whose opinions are valid.

And while your at it put DD on the filter as well .

The big difference betwéen DD and ND is up to now they have got it completly wrong and i have got it completly right .. i have made 100,000,s of pounds and they have zero .

They re the facts they dont like it ..so they call me a ramper ...

Ok as NM said ....We have got the money 👍

Lowtrawler I actually think you post sensibly and don't get carried away with the ridiculous ramping on here by certain posters, however RP doesn't pull mkramperknight up for minute by minute ramps on the share but when I make an informed opinion he jumps on it because it's negative.Solg still have no funding that is a fact and they wont have until a site visit is carried out, meanwhile the clock is ticking down to an election which could change everything in terms of valuations.I think Mather is a ceo who is overly optimistic, most ceos are, nothing wrong with that and he is doing his best to promote the company. As ive previously stated I only took an interest following this share because a friend on several occasions has tried to get me to buy, there is no way I would invest in a company with all their assets in a country like Ecuador.......
