The optimism is all based on remdesivir successfully treating a small sample of 125 patients. It is not a vaccine and further trials are needed. It will generate a small recovery today that may be short lived.Yesterday's news for SOLG will have lasting benefits and will surely have set us on the road towards 25p and beyond over the next few weeks.

I am sure Cornerstone who are in the group agreed that is was a great idea to keep the shares low .

If the same amount of shares are traded tomorrow same buys and sells it will be up another 12%

So why did they release the news today

mknight. The shares moved down from the 40's after the PEA along with copper's fall, and before all the players had got round the table - where they now sit. There's no room for anyone else and no point speculating someone else will come in from outside to dven gently rock the boat, which is why its now a (long) waiting game. The next catalyst will be the BFS and only then will potential funders take notice. Meanwhile shady shuffling and muttering will go on, which we won't hear about, and (unless leaked) won't move the shares. If copper recovers determinedly (unlikely until the Covid recession is well and truly over) small players might start moving the shares. But there's nothing likely to do so before then. We're looking at another year of drift at least in my opinion.

I agree it cannot stay at 21p .

I said 21p by Friday

I said 30p by the end of May .

I said keep buying all the way down .

No doubt i will get some wrong but i have to say things have never looked so good for Solgold.



So imho it will not stay at 21p for long . It may drop back to fill the gap opened today and then motor on but we will test new highs sometime this year imho

GILEAD SCIENCE has had some very good CV trials
So fingers crossed . .Patients getting better very quickly ......

Drug is Remdesivir...Rapid recoveries .

If it came I missed it too and if it came it didn`t do the business here but Solg is faring better on TSX.

Even so the value is there and improving and we will benefit eventually. Patience.

Mk this is a.monster of a find, it's so massive and the quality and quantity is what the smelters want, no wonder they are bidding each other out, nick mather short listed 10 out of few dozens or so and theres more bidders to come forward but due to crona virus they are stuck, bhp will not sit by and let this go although they got 15% stake and newcrest with 15% and black rock etc nick mather on the last interview mentioned barrick gold after these kind of mines and resources, someone have to take this out now or probably never as it becomes too expensive, this share cannot stay at 21p it's not logical

After todays news i am sure some institutions will be taking a close look .

I noticed because of the quality of material we are now talking of producing over 500.000 oz of gold a yearand the mine is still growing . .

Plus institutions can buy and sell .. more facts

Nope ! Sorry ! No bid. 65% shares are in only 7 hands - and that excludes the BoD. Most of the rest are with institutions, Any deal will be behind closed doors. And its why trading volume is very small and unlikely to move the price much. Facts Gents ! Facts !

Copper smelters

1. China 36 % of the market .

2. Chile 10 % of the market .

So a good chance 3 or 4 of the offers solgold have are from China .

And fair to say atleast 1 from Chile

Although as CHile are on lockdown it might be Solgold are waiting for their offers .

Either way things are looking better each day with more news soon .

And to dozy duck . Good post explained why we never hit 50p today . Appreciate the info even if you put a negative slant on it .
