Positive roundup of what we can expect later today (16:00GMT) $SOLG $SOLG.L $CGP #ecuador

Mining: the Constitutional Court will issue ruling on the referendum in Imbabura The Court is preparing to issue, on Thursday, June 20, 2019, an opinion on a popular consultation request that seeks to stop large-scale mining in the provinces of Imbabura and Carchi.

"...But there are also sectors that are in favor of mining. The Chamber of Mining, the National Federation of Chambers of Industry, the Ecuadorian Business Committee and even President Lenin Moreno are confident that the Court will rule against the referendum."

"Mining can not go to popular consultation," says Santiago Yépez

In the unlikely event the Constitutional Court were to approve the referendum, the question would then have to be approved by the Electoral Council in order to be included on future ballot papers for the provinces specified.

I sold out a few weeks ago. One of my rare good moves. I'd love to get back in, but I just can't see why anyone would buy right now with all the uncertainty. Each time I think it's reached its low it drops further. A positive ruling from the court will obviously help, but I fear confidence in the whole Ecuadorian mining industry has been damaged.

What we need is a clear judgement in favour of mining -- at 4pm tomorrow if the good doctor is right and the grasses know their stuff although I wouldn`t have thought that a tent would be the best place to hear market rumours.

PS from LSE Anna confirms that they are expecting a decision tomorrow at 4.0pm UK time-a bit tight in our end of day trading.

Let's hope so. Never know how much damage these type of issues can do.
Stability is what we need.

Getting closer to the 24th so perhaps the fear of losing all over the chance to make a quick decent gain is winning the current minds

Or reveal the source of the plot other than the grass roots which go much deeper than I can access. It is claimed that trees talk to each other so maybe he is a good listener or on the other hand just in need of a witch doctor.
