29/8/2017 16:25 | AiM working it's usual magic, there appear to be twice as many buys as sells, yet the price slips! Or just the usual sloppy advfn counting machine? | lefrene
29/8/2017 09:28 | A bit of good news, almost 2,500 sq km of promising prospects and one sample came in at 12% copper! 12:00, never mind Cascabel, new prospects literally half the size of Norfolk, already some early signs of promise on the ground, plus gold and copper rising, metals which are traded in $ against a wilting £, and the share price is struggling? Can't all be due to that fat little emperor of North Korea? I should think the Chinese are finding him something of an embarrassment by now? | lefrene
29/8/2017 09:01 | Who would have thought the prices of gold and copper were doing so well? | lefrene
28/8/2017 19:14 | Gold very much expected to motor from here lefrene IF it closes over $1300. Could be a very quick $100 follow up move Copper in good compmay | onedayrodders
28/8/2017 12:00 | Comex gold over $1300, and Comex copper over $3.09 per lb. That Cornerstone and A N Other lock-in ends today, might not make any difference to the sp, but rising prices can't do us any harm either :¬) | lefrene
27/8/2017 09:43 | yes sitting tight .. all will be revealed eventually | onedayrodders
26/8/2017 10:53 | ODR, I suspect this delay is all about manoeuvres amongst the big holders to secure their positions to enable a deal between Nick Mather and Newcrest. Oddly AiM has stricter rules about notifications of deals between large holders, whereas the main market does not. Once Cornerstone and it's friend have got themselves sorted, then the main market listing would enable a swift transaction between various parties to give Newcrest a bigger holding perhaps in exchange for mining rights, some cash, and perhaps future income? Perhaps to allow Newcrest to block cave Alpala, and to provide the dosh for Nick Mather to begin opencast at Aguinaga? It's all pure speculation on my part, but I think Nick Mather wants not only to be a great explorer, but also a mega miner. I imagine he has had his nose rubbed in it over the years by the big boys, and would very much like to put some of them in their place. If Solg can get cash and an income whilst holding on to major resources, then it can stop printing shares and build share holder value. | lefrene
25/8/2017 17:59 | irritating little period but hey ho | onedayrodders
25/8/2017 12:44 | Copper keeps pushing through that $3.07 lb level, it would be good to see a sudden leap in the value. Looks like this can be ignored until October by which time Cornerstone will have finished tidying up and filing away, and that main market listing will have a second go at knocking on the door. | lefrene
24/8/2017 16:40 | Copper making a break for it, but not reflected here. Looks like Cornerstone is being accommodated as they separate and re-jig their company arrangements. I Guess the Solg Board want to remain sweet with them, hence the main market delay. | lefrene
24/8/2017 13:23 | Thank you ODR :¬) | lefrene
24/8/2017 12:37 | Meanwhile Solg is feeling more like there are cobwebs hanging off drill rigs and tumbleweed blowing through the camp! Only another four days for that Cornerstone tie-in with AN Other to come to an end, will we then see all the ducks lined up? Ah well, perhaps this time next year we will know a little more, copper will be higher in price and, maybe Trump will have been pensioned off :¬) | lefrene
22/8/2017 19:53 | Antofagasta CEO was very bullish this morning describing the move to electric cars multiplying the need for copper by ten-fold by 2025, three-fold by 2020. Their share price has risen 75% this year on the back of rising copper prices. | onedayrodders
22/8/2017 14:14 | The only fast-forward I can see is the possibility that Aguinaga or one of the other not yet drilled prospects will have close to surface mineralisation of sufficient size and grade to warrant open pit mining. | pecker1
22/8/2017 12:45 | A steady increase in the copper price will do wonders for the 'in the ground' value of Cascabel. I'm guessing that NM would like to see a jv with Newcrest to blockcave Alpala, but there might be a compelling offer from elsewhere, and further guessing that stuff in the ground is worth 5% of finished product. So any third party offer would have to be substantial, and possibly based upon an expected future price of copper rather than just todays price? Eventually something will happen, unfortunately there's no fast-forward button with this stuff. | lefrene
22/8/2017 12:14 | hope so lefrene ... 10 year Copper chart looks in rude health to the upside | onedayrodders
22/8/2017 11:19 | The proverbial death and taxes are the only guarantee OneDayRodders, but I notice copper is hanging on to that $3 level. I suspect that had Solg made it on to the main market yesterday, then today we would have seen some drilling updates. I'm of the view that some entity is wanting to grab Solg or at least part of it, and grab it on the cheap. Good job there is Nick Mather to fight the corner of the shareholders, instead of the usual corporate stitch-up where board members and banksters reap the rewards and the holders get screwed. | lefrene
21/8/2017 16:30 | indeed lefrene Our day will come here :O) | onedayrodders
21/8/2017 16:00 | Good to see copper push right through $3lb, perhaps the long awaited normalisation of copper values is now asserting itself? Not only is Solg a huge resource find, but it seems to have found it just at the right time! | lefrene
21/8/2017 14:39 | Copper taking another look at $3lb. Quite reassuring that in another place there is a presumably hired negative poster (kalbarri), whose whole posting history is SOLG. I conclude that some entity deems it worth spending money on a hired fud slinger, presumably somebody wants to get shares as cheaply as possible? | lefrene
21/8/2017 12:47 | Yes, I'm just guessing in the dark too. Usually AiM is so leaky that prices start to move well ahead of events, the only oddity one can point to is that lock in agreement with Cornerstone which ends on the 28th, although it could be renewed if it's reason to exist has not emerged by then. Whatever it is that's going on I feel it is a positive rather than a negative, but the thing I don't want to see is a cheap deal just for short term gain. At least as time goes by there should be more drilling reports, hopefully expanding the site and raising metal percentages. | lefrene
21/8/2017 12:24 | Difficult for us to know exactly what caused delay. Would think if take over is imminent price would be rising. Hard to believe that move to main market is already factored into price. At least Solg bb hasn't had the madness of Ukog. Although herd has left there. Few posts is good. | mam fach
21/8/2017 12:02 | FYI The arrest of SOLOMAN... EXCLUSIVE BRITAINS 'WARREN BUFFET' ARRESTED!! TRUE! Who is it that has had his collar felt? Dan x | daniel levi bmd
21/8/2017 12:00 | Lefrene - those were all the things that were going through my head. With all that other stuff going on at the same time it's hard to see it as just somebody fouling up the paperwork. | herbert howells |
