The latest angry geologist blog discloses he owns SOLG. It must have been an oversight in the last one.

Weird, so there is, ten minute intervals. What is that algorithm intended to do? I hope it's going short and gets some unexpected good news!

gilotron, that entity has rubbished Solg in the past, now he has changed his tune, I have wondered if he is employed by somebody?

Plainly Solg is sat on a valuable site, but it's the extraction of that value that has to be accomplished to see the share price rise. What's the best route for rewards? Prove up Alpala for 10 billion tons at 2% cu, sell it for circa $5billion and use the money to exploit the rest of Cascabel and those 38 other specs? Or do a joint deal with a miner (Newcrest?) and take the long route? We have to trust NM to make the best choice, on his track record thus far I trust him. I'm hoping we see significant change over the next two years, as like a few others here, time is getting shorter.

You have time to hold on and enjoy the rewards.
I've been investing for 50 years.

mam fach - I wouldn't say it's been a miserable few weeks for LTHs. Yes there was a placing, but it was at a reasonable price, with a solid investor who is in it for the long haul. It's never easy seeing paper profits dwindle of course, but if as an investor you believe in the potential here (as it seems you certainly do), then what's a few more months or year or two. I have holdings in several companies, but SOLG is the one I believe in the strongest, based on the quality of management, the size of resource and a genuine institutional investor on board

I think some of us realise that SOLG isn't a company with no proven resource.
Pity more investors aren't convinced of the huge potential.
Been a miserable few weeks for long term holders.
Expect company still thought of as pie in the sky.

Mark - Anyone maybe, but not any institution - you wouldn't want your pension funds blown by being speculated on AIM mining companies with no proven resource? TSX and main board have some more stringent requirements to show you actually have something of value, and in mining that means stuff in the ground rather than turnover, margins etc as in a trading or manufacturing.

Plenty of good news still to come Rodders. Not only the listings but eventually an initial resource report, and then there is Aguinaga for initial drilling, and that's just for starters. Also I don't think BHP have bought the bordering plot by chance. I'd just like to fast forward a couple of years and pick up my 500p a share :¬)

I'm sure you are right there Noccer about the report before the TSX listing. I guess though if you are in the mining investment field you will already know about Solg, but if you are a fund manager you may not be allowed to buy on the dodgy AiM market? So perhaps we will see a lift when we join the Main Market, and a lift when a resource report comes in, but little movement when we finally list on the TSX?

As far as I can the TSX listing requires a NI 43-101 resource statement, and I expect that will push the price far more than the TSX listing itself. However I can't see it any time soon as instead of finding the extent of the resource they keep getting even better drill results. 216metres of 3.08% copper equiv (inc 2.84ppm gold) in 23R is a stonking result, and just 6 days before in hole 25 they announced 100m of 3.59% copper equivalent at hematite hill. It just keeps getting bigger.

could well be ... June has given the share price a couple of body blows that will take a while to consolidate but just like Anthony Joshua in his last fight we are up off the floor and now fighting back.

TSX listing could hit the screens at any time and after that last RNS there should be plenty of interest from the get go.

Doesn't seem to have reached the share price though Rodders. I wonder if these are somehow being hoarded by MMs for the Main Market listing?

Looking forward to joint listing on TSX & Main LSE

I would hope the circa $70 million they have raised this year would last for quite sometime, they have been very careful with share holders money in the past, I hope that attitude persists. It's good to have options, if the other sites also have rich deposits then it's possible a sale of Cascabel might be considered in order to raise money to become an actual miner of other locations. BHP having taken the plot next door might make an offer that's hard to refuse? But with copper prices creeping up, the story here can only get better.

Am hoping these stay at this level for a couple more days until my funds have cleared to enable me to buy more.
IMHO, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for those who are willing to be patient. Yes there will be a need for more capital raising, but we have a solid partner who is in it for the end game, rather than just interested in making a quick buck by selling into any share price rise.
