hazl, if you don't understand the limited connection of the SOLG share price to metal prices, you have failed to grasp anything about SOLG fundamentals. Forecast metal prices will guide pricing but construction costs, operating costs, taxation, Ecuador specific risks, other risks, costs of capital, opportunity costs, competition, rumours of bid interest, possible finance dilution, SOLG obligations to explore the unexplored licenses etc. etc. also guide the price. Not only that, the metal prices that matter are those being forecast many years from now and can be completely different to the spot price.

There are a huge number of factors influencing the SOLG share price. Producers have a far more direct connection to metal prices than SOLG.

My feelings after seeing Scotts interview with David Lin was a CEO that had been told Finance is as good as done keep getting the permits needed to allow solgold to be sold or go into production .

Then something happened and the finace deal didnt go through for some reason . Both CFO and CEO were angry so the CFO was given 3m options to keep him from leaving and weak Scott had to buy shares as he had promised in the video so bought the mimimum possibly .

This post makes sense but could and probably is completly wrong so DYOR .

Throw in the FD,s options and you ask yourself what has he done to deserve options so close to running out of money after a blackout period which proves nothing is close to being agreed .

1. It's small and the guts are not that desperate.
2. So it must be a sign
I. A message that they are not in a close period so nothing material.
Ii. Or a message they are out of a close period.
3. nothing material and they have no money but still doing nothing I not aeeious at all.
