I dont know to be honest , first we get a directors buy which i agree with TT Toast that no news should be forthcoming as it would be insider trading if finace was due then we get news that Solgold has signed a 33 year deal with the Government which should also be classed as insider trading .

LF, not really. A bid has only made sense at higher metal prices and so anyone considering a bid would already be forecasting at current prices or higher. The higher prices may help in announcing a bid as there is less a leap of faith on the metal prices they will need to use in pricing a bid.

Good to see copper and gold hitting new highs, got to help with any price negotiations going on, and as yet there seems a solid trend in metal prices rising against a debauched Dollar.
