I like the fact that Newmont are pushing the GJV hard. They know the potential here which is proved by their their commitment to follow up on the proposed funding and drilling program.

I would take no notice tt2. I personally am pleased things are speeding up. To be frank I know very little about mining and don't mind admitting it.

RedHotCopper called me about subscribing to them a few weeks ago. I mentioned SOLG. They told me that they back recommended them a long time ago. Later they advised to top slice to their subscribers. The guy I spoke with told me to hold as they are an excellent company and will over time make a lot of money for their investors.

That's because this RNS doesn't offer anything concrete i.e. we're waiting for assay results. This news release is nothing more than a PR exercise.

What are you talking about TT? 159g/t gold is unbelievable! It doesn't get any better than that!

The RNS states they have defined more drilling targets and are closer to understanding the geology of the island.

Bill - this is a long term investment. A lot of people think like you which is why they take their money out and put it elsewhere. I'm not going to reiterate what i've said countless times already, again! See the thread archive and study the picture below.

Current prices are an absolute bargain for the long term patient investor. We only have 400Koz JORC at the moment.

Come on guys over the last 5 months the share price has dropped over 20% Not good no matter how u look at it & despite the fact we have released no baaaad news as the sheep sed. Not sure what is needed to lift the share price but there is no doubt has to be a better buying oppo than we were in last November. Cap Value £75M 20p/share & we are worth £60M what are the chances. Personally I would like a c/v of £150M. Too optimistic?!?!?!?!?
