06/4/2011 07:49 | ntd303 and 2acorn, I am in total agreement with you regarding patience. I am a holder here from 28p and will remain so for many years to come until the potential of this company has been fully realised. Right now the share price is falling because of the inherent risk of being a young mining company who has not yet brought any resource to the market. Yes we may be sitting on large deposits in the ground but until we've jumped through all the necessary hoops and actually achieved producer status we're not going far in way of share price appreciation. Currently my investment in this company reminds me of a few years back when AAZ was at the lows. Fortunately I managed to buy at the bottom and average down to just over 10p/share (should anyone doubts my long term holding in AAZ just take a look at the first couple of posts on the AAZ BB, it was I who requested Robin to set up the thread). The current PnF chart for SOLG (shown below) has a price target of 18p. Personally I believe we may fall as far as 14-15p to retest the 2009 highs (previous resistance) as per my chart in post #107. If we do fall that far I will be adding to my current holding providing nothing has changed at a corporate level to warrant not topping up. In the meantime people need to have patience. This is a young mining company and patience is certainly a prerequisite for any investment in the mining industry. PnF chart: | smudgeroo

06/4/2011 01:43 | Think I've realised from past mistakes that patience is really important ....the gold price is encouraging though! ....my gut feeling is that solg will come right for us ....It reminds me of waiting for NXT in '99 ....sold at £23 in the end!! | 2acorn
06/4/2011 01:34 | I think i'll need a few of those beers too if this keeps trading like it does. It's going to take something pretty special to get us out of this downtrend. I can't see us doing anything decent for 6 months, at least. Hopefully if we can prove up some more gold at Rannes and get on the scoreboard at Mt Perry. The Newmont JV looks like the most promising project we have on the go IMO. Eagerly awaiting the drill results at Fauro to see if that's all it's cracked up to be. | ntd303
06/4/2011 01:32 | ....and I guess it was a bit silly, sorry ...blame Stella Artois! | 2acorn
06/4/2011 01:29 | re 309 ....just felt happy the share price had risen on that day ...no harm intended! | 2acorn

05/4/2011 15:49 | A bit of a rocket on the gold price there! Just looked at the trades and its not far off the 50/50 today and they would seem to be really hammering those that want to sell. Can't fault them, good. My first bit of praise for the mm's. | chavitravi

05/4/2011 14:57 | Ok - so if that's the case then I will apologise for the aforementioned comment. This share has been under attack from the said posters ever since I can remember. They register different accounts weekly and ramp ORE, TPJ, CNR. Can suppy a full list of handles if that helps. Everyone on this thread is wise to them. Appreciate now you were acting on best endeavours. Look forward to your further posts on this forum and will edit my comments above. | ntd303
05/4/2011 14:51 | ntd303, I duly take note that you're the sort of person that doesn't apologise for calling a person a paid de-ramper when it isn't true. If you had read my posts on the other thread more carefully you would have noticed that I was in effect countering their rather vacuous posts. | domino
05/4/2011 14:42 | Your tone was a little bit abrupt too. "I'm an investor that values accurate information." Did I write the Fat Prophets report!? Come on Domino. No wonder you got my back up. I've researched this company top and bottom and all the information in the header is fully hyperlinked so it can be independently verified. Whilst I thank you for bringing the matter to all our attention, can I ask you not to associate with the posters that litter our retired threads. We all know their reasons for doing so. | ntd303 |
