APPOINTMENT OF DEPUTY CHAIRMAN

The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Gray as Deputy Chairman, with immediate effect.

Rob joined the Board as a Non-Executive Director in 2013. He is the Board's Senior Independent Director and is a member of each of the Board Committees, namely the Nominations Committee, Remuneration Committee, and the Audit & Risk Committee, which he has chaired since January 2017. Rob will continue to serve in these roles alongside his deputy chairmanship.

Rob has more than 30 years' experience advising companies in the natural resources sector in his various roles at James Capel & Co., Kleinwort Benson, Robert Fleming & Co. and Deutsche Bank. He is a co-founder of RegEnersys, a natural resources investment entity and is currently the principal of ReVysion LLP.

Rob was previously a Director and Head of the Natural Resource Group at Robert Fleming & Co. Ltd. for four years, a group which he established. Between 2000 and 2010, Rob was an Advisory Board Member for Heerema Marine Contractors. Rob is also one of a number of industry advisors to Bluewater Energy.
