Also, nothing said about the forward field development plan for TGT.

So, shareholders will get 2p, which was the lowest dividend from the likely range.

Agree, any dividend is welcome, but holders must continue to put a brave face on their disappointment.

Meanwhile, the directors enjoy their huge remuneration.

2p what a load of rubbish. Should have been much higher. Means Mongolia payment not coming anytime soon so they compensate with 2p dividend lol so people can't later say a dividend later in the year wasn't paid.

Sure. Don't disagree with that in principle although of course they are at the mercy of the oil price.

I think the point there Nigel is that they are signalling confidence they will turn up (otherwise they would have declared earlier) but I suspect that, having indicated they would consider a divi, don't want to (or can't) wait until eg November before declaring.There may also be other reasons for going now.....but at least the cash is welcome.
