22/1/2013 22:30 | oh it gets worse the analyst 14 Jul'10 - 16:45 - 129 of 5486 0 0 I think the management here are better than that. In fact, I think they are leagues apart. I talked to DW about getting more funding some time ago and he quipped that if he thought he could get a VC to give them 'five million at 4p per share', he would jump at the chance. Obviously, they were in talks, but being so far behind ning, it looks like the best they could get was 1.25p from Vikrant. | trynotputtingyourfootinyourgob
22/1/2013 22:24 | interesting, a multi-millionaire at 38 - not too bad. but how do you know it's him? he doesn't come across as being loaded | acta_topup

22/1/2013 22:20 | yes they completely ignore also-rans and obvious failures the analyst 9 Jul'10 - 15:00 - 105 of 5485 0 0 Are angels and VCs starting to throw money at these ventures as if it was 2000 again? | trynotputtingyourfootinyourgob

22/1/2013 22:19 | They saw him coming... the analyst 5 Jul'10 - 12:39 - 80 of 5485 0 0 I'm being quoted 1.75p to buy 500k, which is a full 40% above the current offer, or an incredible 55% above the mid-price. I was expecting to be quoted around mid-price, given the sales and direction of the share price | trynotputtingyourfootinyourgob
22/1/2013 22:18 | how do you have a picture of that guy? are you two mates? | acta_topup
22/1/2013 22:18 | Embarrassing... the analyst 24 Jun'10 - 17:52 - 51 of 5483 0 0 UB, I'm confused about what you are complaining about - is it that you thought this was a media play? For me, socialGO has always been a technology venture. It's not ning, it's not based on advertising revenue and to be honest, those are things that I like about the company. I do expect the next trading update to 'look' mediocre in terms of revenues, but I expect it show solid progress being made considering it is still from V1. But when I look at SGO as an investment, it's all about where the company will be in terms of profit and revenue in 2011. I'm hoping that the first trading update to include six full months of SocialGO V2 will really get the market's full attention and show people that SocialGO can become a £100m+ company It might be that you were expecting too much too soon. this really is a very small tech start-up at an early stage. Incredible potential, but it needs to be a long-term investment and it is high risk. Much (all?) depends on the quality of V2 and their success in marketing it - we won't get those figures for quite some time and what has happened up till now in terms of revenues and growth is only really relevant in determining if there is a market for this type of product (I think there is). V1 has been a test-bed for what is to come and a chance to find out what V2 needs to be, where it needs to be heading etc. In some way V1 could be seen as a (full-blown) market research exercise, if you like An investment here will require patience, imo and there is no guarantee that V2 will succeed (although I think it will) | trynotputtingyourfootinyourgob
22/1/2013 22:15 | someones got a good pension to look forward to the analyst 22 Jun'10 - 17:47 - 25 of 5483 0 0 Looks like that the 8m traded was Dominic putting them into his SIPP I've been looking into doing the same thing myself | trynotputtingyourfootinyourgob
22/1/2013 22:15 | Norbus 17 Jun'10 - 11:04 - 2 of 5482 0 0 TA Hope you are enjoying yourself and far away from the floods ; you see the Green lot started trialling. more newsflow expected. I went to meeting yesterday. I think SCO is in very good shape with a motivated team who all think a lot of Vickrant . Starting next week, we may see Dominic do the NBC TV all over again. The next 12 months will be significant and by the end of which, we will not recognise the company . They intend to demonstrate significant interim progress by January. Glad I am a supporter. That was really thanks to you. PS why did you have to drop the price down from 2.6p? the analyst 17 Jun'10 - 12:46 - 3 of 5482 0 0 lol, yeah they could have kept it where it was, nobody would have complained! Hopefully, we will not only not recognise the company, but the same will apply to the share price too. They have put together an incredibly good team, right? Even more impressive when you consider they are a microcap. Great to see the Green machine demonstrate they can make a sale. Another solid move forward Not got to France yet, in T5 at the moment. Flooding should be fine, at the top of a hilltop village.... Norbus 17 Jun'10 - 12:59 - 4 of 5482 0 0 Yes No doubt about the strength and motivation of team. New Marketing director on board to be announced. The FD sounds wide awake. I am waiting for the RNS with that and a trading update. the analyst 17 Jun'10 - 13:14 - 5 of 5482 0 0 Good stuff, I did hear about the new marketing Director, but no idea who it is. Very experienced with good track record from what I'm told. Is this the new guy that vikrant is allowed to bring in following his latest investment? | trynotputtingyourfootinyourgob
22/1/2013 22:12 | Funny how topinfo has a 'great week' when all the sheep who listened to him are nursing losses from buying spikes in LED, IFM ,CCE, CMI, CRHL, KIBO, REM, GRL, NVTA, OCH, etc etc | trynotputtingyourfootinyourgob
22/1/2013 22:11 | OK, have done that Simon, thanks. | the analyst
22/1/2013 22:11 | I see the cretinous 'The Analyst' who has been long and wrong on SGO all the way down is so desperate to recover some 'DOSH' he is denying free speech now. | trynotputtingyourfootinyourgob
22/1/2013 22:11 | Moderate me if you want but this is a pump and dump from Topinfo. | 34simon
22/1/2013 22:11 | Just to let you know, I'll be moderating irrelevant posts, if I am able to. | the analyst |
