Still here, Norbus!

Met up with the Chairman recently, which inspired me to take another look at the SocialGO offering. I hadn't looked at it for some time, so was pleased to see that at least some of the problems we discussed here 18 months ago have now been rectified.

Also, have been in communication with our new consultant across the pond - just adding a few ideas and suggestions to the mix. All good on that front - a world apart from previous experiences dealing with the company.

Long story short, I think the company still has a chance - a second bite at the cherry to make a decent business out of what they have developed.

The good news is that they still have good traffic to the sales site. - I've been tracking keyword rankings in google and can see that they still rank very well for quite a few terms that can bring in potential customers.

My main concern is a lack of funds to get things back on track quickly under the shadow of strong competition that wasn't there a couple of years ago.

So, I think its going to take something special, but there is still a chance.

That said, f I didn't hold so many shares already, I'd be quite happy to take a small, speculative punt on a few shares, whilst they trade under 0.6p.

I see today that SGO have moved my site to their new servers and I now have to change DNS settings to benefit from new stability and speed.

Will do that later - but regard this as another sign of commitment to improving the platform.

Another slight positive seems to be much less spam sign ups and steady number of, what appear to be, new owners signing up to owner site.

Blogs not being pushed to Twitter, not sure why? Is this to improve traffic to site rather than twitter?

No activity on owners site, features, response to comments etc... Which should be addressed, as important as blogging, customers not feeling that their concerns are being addressed still.

Hopeful though that other issues are being solved quietly ready for a new push.

What happened or is happening with 'mobile'? this quarter?

Interesting? No, could be almost exciting; commitment to languages is not cheap, improves SEO and prospective users.

What if? our new broom sweeps well and delivers by late Summer what we spent over two years waiting for from our Star Diva Donas ? I'll bet we see double digit share price in whole pence ..they are surely on the way..

Socialgo are migrating their platform into the cloud. Looks like a useful cost saving exercise and might even improve reliability.

it was a bit tongue in cheek, Im not really expecting a new v2013. Just fix the old one, and add new and exciting templates would be a good start.

maybe Lawrence is the new intern, he's been busy blogging the last week.

all quiet still on the owners site, feature requests in particular continuing to be ignored, spam sign ups are still prolific and annoying. Is it a lack of care or are we waiting for all the issues to be addressed in a new and shiny V2013?

There's quite a few punters who will have a go at a share that appears to have bottomed, regardless of the business and especially if its a fraction of 1p.

To get several million shares for not much cash is a bargain you know !
Imagine if you bought a million and then in 5 years they were worth £1, etc. etc. blah, blah.

Thanks; TOPINFO earns credibility with me for his reply; at least he's aware or has close ear to situation through broker? . Hope we do not attract too many Yahoo Henry's as we travel along.I am game to look at 5m+ if offered.
