Oh well, no-one can say they didn't see this coming ! Shareholders wiped out in another AIM money pit.

With a bit of sense, most private investors probably pulled the rip cord on this one a long time ago.

Right... who needs some plastic boxes?

From driller post-

The convicted fraudster who brokered Sir Philip Green’s sale of BHS took as much as £4m from investors in a suspected Ponzi scheme.

Paul Sutton, who introduced serial bankrupt Dominic Chappell to the department store deal with Green, ran a company called B52 Investments between 2010 and 2014 with his girlfriend, Nicola Tarrant.

B52 sold unofficial share certificates in Snoozebox, a pop-up hotel operator, before it listed on London’s junior stock market in 2012. At the time of the float, carried out by the stockbroker Panmure Gordon, B52 owned 66.7% of Snoozebox.

The hotel company raised £12m from the market in April 2012, and another £8.4m that November. The shares rose from 40p to about 75p by the end of 2012, and in January 2013…

the future does indeed appear to be bright and box-shaped for this company. The share price may not appear appealing from where it was a few years back but let’s not forget one important factor. Summer is on its way and with that in mind, the festival season is starting. The board may have changed a number of times but the concept hasn’t. There would have been many lessons learnt from the last few years and hopefully with a recognised brand and more contracts under their belt, they might just beat those summer blues for new investors.

Imagine if, instead of schlepping back to a faraway hotel after the 2018 World Cup, you could just sleep in a ready-made hotel in the parking lot. Snoozebox, a pop-up hotel that takes under 48 hours to assemble, may be the ideal lodging for you.

Amazing the time that Globo fooled mkts, auditors, investors

Boy did the PI investors love it ...including various experienced investors

& even tech. sector product review specialists !

(The give away was that they claimed big sales yet they were not getting paid for too much of those sales.....its perhaps the oldest stock mkt trick)

Some good valid pts.

Not a std length !..I hope that doesnt mean that cant be road moved by std container movers ( not my area)

If the lender dont get paid and gets the company I would guess that he'd like to offload the cabins to someone in the sector.....perhaps preferring a cash lump sum and taking a partial loss to avoid on going hassle.

-----

A 60% drop in 1 day shows the company did not keep the mkt informed.
Sudden "oh, company is screwed" RNS
What chance has anyone got if cos. dont keep investors informed about what is happening.

( no position luckily)

Investors thought this was a company with physical assets, now it seems that it's just a sales agent for somebody who owns a lot of boxes. Unfortunately they don't seem to be much good at selling though. These situations become quite fascinating, as the actual owner of the boxes may have to start paying to store and maintain them? That's an incentive to get shot of the things asap. So who is going to pop up to take the 'problem' off their hands? Perhaps someone with previous experience of this sort of thing?

As I suspected, there is no money in event renting, the only real business is in the long term basic accommodation sites. No doubt phone calls are being made to refugee agencies to see if they are interested in some 'nice' boxes. Most likely contracts for that refugee spend will already have gone to the 'right' people, but those people will be looking for cheap stock.

The financier has to decide if they want the pain to drag on and give ZZZ another chance, or whether to write the thing off as fast as possible and leave it in the rear view mirror. ZZZ not only fooled investors, they must also have done a good job selling themselves to the finance house.

seller cleared... along with any punters and investors cash. Oh and will the last investor out of here please switch off the lights? Would hate to leave a large bill behind.

I agree BK. Is Bill182 still around. I remember he argued well for this company and although I liked the idea I didn't find the investment case compelling. How on earth did they ever get investors to invest in their placings?

100 million Ordinary Shares conditionally placed firm with institutional and other investors to raise £10 million ("Firm Placing").

· Up to 10 million additional Ordinary Shares to be offered to Discretionary PCBs and other Qualified Investors to raise up to £1 million ("Additional Placing").

· Free warrant to subscribe for one Ordinary Share for every one Ordinary Share subscribed pursuant to the Firm Placing and the Additional Placing at the Placing Price.

· Placing price of 10 pence per share represents a discount of 13 per cent. to the closing mid-market price on 15 April 2014 (being the latest practicable date prior to the date of this Announcement).

Not to mention the lease finance. So I will.

Snoozebox Holdings plc (AIM: ZZZ), the leading provider of portable hotel accommodation and services, today announces that it has agreed terms for lease finance of up to £15.6m with SQN Asset Finance Income Fund Limited, the only diversified asset financing fund listed in the United Kingdom.

The Company anticipates drawing down approximately £10m of this facility in the next quarter. The remaining finance should be available over the next 12 months, subject to operating and performance criteria.

In wonder if the performance criteria was ever met?
