thats the key issue, the debt or lack or it. since most peers have substantial debt its worth noting. and possibly why the shares have held up so well frustratingly. i say this as i have a quarter position and was hoping to add. i missed the war dip in it, not wanting to do too much buying across the mkt at any one time and so still retain my quarter which is slightly in the plus not including currency gains. 1300-1400 look like decent levels to add imo.

20 x is on the high side for SMIN, yes you could make a case it's now
a more focused business with low net debt.

One to look at if markets turn south again, or if buying on a longer term basis.

22 fwd pe is about 20 but that doesnt tell the whole story. given that its now debt free if you use enterprise value metrics its cheaper than many peers than have debt to deal with. if you argue supply chain and aero have seen the worst, then the shares look reasonable here.

phil

Looke like too many tintins with too much time on their hands. Push it up today and down tomorrow, and vice versa.
The question is whether, which way and nt how much the fundamentals of the business will alter based on the current turmoil within the economies of the developed world.
