Yes, Investors Chronicle but also on Radio 4 and from a member of my shares club a fortnight ago.

"Buy something from online retailer Amazon and there's a good chance it will arrive in a box made by DS Smith (SMDS). Plenty of other big name retailers use its wide range of cost-saving packaging, too, as the rise of convenience stores, discounters and online sales fuels demand for the group's corrugated packs."

I keep picking up the same rumour - that Amazon UK is set to sign a large supply contract with SMDS. Is their any substance to this or is it just an attempt to boost the share price? Does anyone know if Smiths are in any form of discussion with Amazon? I suspect that it has little foundation.

Investors Chronicle:

DS Smith (SMDS), a maker of consumer packaging and recycled packaging products, confirmed strong volume growth over the past four months in a trading update that sent the shares up 1 per cent. The group performed particularly well in western and south eastern Europe. Buy.
