27/9/2016 11:12 | BT may have to pay Sky for overcharging (see Times this morning for article)...........n | anley
27/9/2016 08:29 | What does that mean Boix please? | raldo
27/9/2016 07:44 | Sky will hold a Capital Markets Day at its headquarters campus in Osterley on the 20th October. First such event for over 25 years so likely to be positive. | boix
21/9/2016 15:44 | Another IT investment, alongside ITV and that makes two in the last 2 weeks.......... | anley
15/9/2016 12:49 | It is my belief that the market is trying to come to grips with all this new content and how it will make profits for SKY. Until then we are in a phoney price war over the share price!!!! | anley
12/9/2016 19:57 | Britain is living in a mirage. | boix
08/9/2016 21:07 | You fool I doubt that. | boix
08/9/2016 21:04 | boix - I am filtering you for good, and I can assure you I have a better education that you, judging from your poor English, and certainly infinitely more investment experience than you could ever comprehend | raffles the gentleman thug
08/9/2016 20:56 | RafflesGet an education Regards | boix
08/9/2016 20:40 | ITV will be below 140p before Christmas. Just watch and learn. Regards | boix
08/9/2016 20:33 | "EXACTLY as I forecast just a bit slower" - I take it from those words that you now are stepping back from your idiotic forecast just three or four days ago of ITV going below 140p in the next three and a half months boix ... I wonder what could possibly have happened to change your mind ?? ....honestly your disjointed, meaningless, vague and unsubstantiated commentary is getting very boring boix - why don't you take it elsewhere because it has no direct relevance to media stocks. I am sure however there are threads out there specifically devoted to LarLar Land and currency trading... ... and its blatantly obvious you are not putting your money where your mouth is, or you would shut the heck up about shorting Sterling and just go short ITV instead... ... you know there was a time when you had useful things to say about these companies, but sadly that is long past since your transition from investor to mindless waffler | raffles the gentleman thug
08/9/2016 19:56 | Raffles. I am very relaxed making money. Just wait. Or perhaps you should do a bit more homework or even get an education? The next 6 months might prove to be an 'education' to many. Regards | boix
06/9/2016 20:28 | none of its quite going your way is it boix ? | raffles the gentleman thug
06/9/2016 19:09 | Sky is Euro earnings. Short Sterling, long Euro and Dollar is my advice. Take advantage of any Sterling strength. You can't 'kid' everyone all of the time. Sterling is a fools market right now. Shorts squeeze and irrational optimism - there is a lot of that in sunny Britain! | boix
06/9/2016 17:19 | No problem cabreado - I haven't seen anything lately, but I doubt the status quo is gonna be maintained, which I think can only at the margin be positive for shareholders. Also if the strength of Sterling is confirmed in the coming weeks it has to benefit sector rotation away from dollar earners into the likes of BT, Sky and Talk Talk, which frankly have been on their knees recently. So we might see some overdue performance | raffles the gentleman thug
06/9/2016 16:55 | Hey Raffles, this seems to be steady raising. I have kept a close eye on Fox activity, but if you know or have a link to any US activity keep us posted on this thread. Much appreciated. | cabreado
02/9/2016 15:30 | Good post raffles. | kitbag1984
02/9/2016 00:18 | ehhh - my commentary is anything other than ramping - just highlighting the fact that it is chronically oversold, which it is on RSI, the fact that it hasn't responded to recovery which many domestic cyclical stocks are enjoying and sharing views on potential change of ownership which has been widely documented in the press over the past year, and which may or may not amount to anything. That is not remotely what could be construed as ramping. You on the other hand, Ball Deap, need to examine your own deeply negative and frankly lightweight, completely unsubstantiated comments which say little more than its a "supernova", or a "door reach open bail stock" , or "its time to say goodbye", or "the candle will fade" or "its a t*rd" amongst numerous ramblings, including your endless waffle about your bloody illuminati contacts - surprised you not telling us next your "contacts" were behind Tupak Shakur's demise as well as Sky's. How you believe you can influence anyone with a modicum of intelligence with those simple one-liners is beyond me. Really Ball Deap write something intelligent and well argued about your bear case on Sky and others might pay attention and grant you a modicum of respect for once ... and that applies to your other threads too, where your commentary is bizarrely identical to that of Sky | raffles the gentleman thug
01/9/2016 22:44 | Guys stop the ramping of the stock, those in the know say this is a door reach open bail stock at the moment. Check out my RSDA short recommendation, just as my illuminati chum said. | ball deap
01/9/2016 15:50 | Really anything is possible 1gw. Its easy to argue they would be a seller given the money Murdoch has already taken from the business via Sky Deutschland, and given the interested parties in the likes of Vodafone and Vivendi. Trouble is their valuation is excessive. One thing is for sure though, its hard to see them maintaining a minority interest. Strange stock at moment as chronically oversold but should be recovering its referendum sell off, given improving economy, better consumer data etc | raffles the gentleman thug
01/9/2016 08:55 | Indeed. "Peddy said the catalyst for the Macquarie note had been speculation in the U.S. that Fox might sell the shares in Sky rather than buy the whole business. Instead, his team had argued the alternative case." | 1gw
01/9/2016 08:42 | Thx carbide much appreciated - bought in myself at same level few days ago, but shares in the wilderness. Of the opinion though that Fox could just as easily sell as buy | raffles the gentleman thug
01/9/2016 07:07 | Barclays sees an upside of 11.5% and reiterates overweight position. In addition a bid from 21 Cent Fox could send this pretty high to 1400p. I bought in at 852p with an initial target: 1040pGood luck all! | cabreado |
