The beauty and personal care market is projected to grow with a CAGR of 3.80% from 2024 to 2029.
STATISTA
Current data suggests that this market is performing in line with its growth projections.

.............

not really a new growth industry, and so saturated. new products every other day, really going to be battling in the same space for years to come

... it's poor growth outlooks compare to many others examp0le :

Several sub-sectors are projected to experience significant Compound Annual Growth Rates (CAGR) leading up to 2029:

1. 3D Printing for Construction:

Projected CAGR: 177.7%

It's all above my head tbh. But i did find some maps made by somebody . Shall share them in the new year. You will be amazed. All time-stamped elsewhere.

It's like watching a game of price ping pong in advance.

I am feeling rather [positive about the future tbf. I am starting to 'believe'

Alas, only time can make any view fact i guess. Would have been nice to have seen Croda buy 5-10% of the stock from opti, instead of opti dumping it to any dim knut that would buy any, 70 to 20p

Maybe opti will start buying now with all of you?

It just all seems so surreal. From the lab (with record shortcuts taken as they said it was completed something like 2 years below the average research time for same), to scaling up for production before lab results ever existed (during plant operation cutbacks), and on to a sudden secret product with blind forecasts, that could, suggest billions lol.

This is fkn staggering really. Record breaking occurrences so it is ready for april? Whatever the fk it is?

Reminds me of World Cabbage day. Yes, World Cabbage day. Not World Psoriasis Day - Cabbage Patch investors

But the main point is this. If it fails with SBTX, will anyone within Croda/Sederma have made a few quid anyway? Anyone?

While Croda does not provide a detailed breakdown of net profit specifically from skin care products, the Beauty Care and Beauty Actives segments within Consumer Care—which include skin care offerings—experienced varied performance. In 2023, underlying sales in Beauty Care declined by 11%, and Beauty Actives saw a 1% decrease. Conversely, the Fragrances and Flavours (F&F) business within Consumer Care achieved an 18% increase in sales

I wonder what the secret product is?

A rose scented banana flavoured tractor?

Steve Foots, Chief Executive Officer, stated: "Our third-quarter sales performance reflects ongoing momentum in our Fragrances and Flavours business within Consumer Care and improved sales in our agriculture businesses in Life Sciences. Whilst we are benefiting from more stable customer inventories and demand in key markets and geographies, the overall trading environment remains challenging."

Now, if your mission is to take a few gerbils for a ride, be my guest. I don't know enough about markets to say more really. Not in detail anyway. The Americans probably do so maybe they might turn up

Here is the next problem bulls. Everything you say, could not be put in an RNS. It would be deemed misleading. Hence why it is not in an RNS per se. Nothing is lol

Point is this

Inside SBTX, Outside SBTX. Form. Statistics. Everything is against it.

Unless it is a special outlier in waiting?

Do you think so

CRDA itself is in serious mid to long term decline and shall continue. Trading like an AIM stock really

Tbh , SBTX is a secondary pitstop. My main interest would be in the bigger stock re CRDA, and wondering what the hell are they doing?

You would not be able to RNS stuff like that in most bigger markets really. It was more like a reach than a standard RNS. So pointless was the info, bar opening everyone up to the power of 'suggestion'

It's a bit weird how an observation can turn into a defamation of moi, yet a decimation of a business with 13 million down the pan, is somehow a 'credit' for others

Is that how it all works?
