Quick phone call and all sorted. New drilling rig is the "Fukyu Maytee". Probably Japanese. Sounds like all systems go. Again.

The BoD wishes to inform shareholders that the Co. has taken an interest in a 500 TCF block with associated oil of 200mmboe, and is working on a funding package of 600m euro.

Ever noticed how the proposed package gets ever bigger, without ever materialising.

Am I hearing that first oil is actually flowing....

Apologies if already posted...

'The Directors are proceeding with their plans to acquire both OML109 and the Additional Producing Asset, and fully intend to develop both of these assets as well as commence the development of the Ororo Field in the next 12 months.' (signed off by O.Kuti August 2019)

I wonder what they'll tell us this year? (shortly)

ht - They, like us, live in hope. Guarantee also say on their website:

"We are proposing to drill a new well (Ororo-2) as against our original Ororo-1 re-entry plan."

But they did go ahead with the re-entry plan (wasn't it on bonfire night)

Just a passing minor point'

An srsp rns extract posted 30th August 2019....four months after the Field Licence expired....the point being, with the Owena OML 95 revocation still in obeyance and shortly to be resolved by the Nigerian High Court... and srsp's last communication on the subject being that they're 'still (officially) waiting to hear from the DPR'...I couldn't help but notice that with ororo as their only asset, both Owena and Guarantee P websites are still up and running 15 months after the Licence expired......Are they still living in hope?

'The Group will also work with its partners and the Department of Petroleum Resources to renew the Ororo licence and to commence the initial drilling programme, as previously disclosed.'

Still on the JPJ site and no appetite for our shares. If anything positive news wise had leaked out, I would imagine that site would be the first place that an interest would be shown.
